* No independent, critical, or philosophical thought, morality is whatever Mohammad said.
* Wanting things or supporting them not because they are good and you have thought it through, but because it's the Islamic thing to do. i.e. Shari-ah or the Caliphate. Both of these would make the world a horrible place, but don't expect Muslims to put any thought into that.
* Discouraging people from having any critical thought by claiming that they are not scholars. The scholars are mostly idiots with immoral opinions.
* Mentally deficient ways of dealing with real-world problems by becoming more religious and praying more.
* Need to control people's appearance.
* Blatant racism on every side.
* In conflict with everyone at their borders whether Muslims or not, historically and in contemporary terms.
* Hatred of pretty much everyone.
* Always feeling like you don't belong.

I've been looking into Islam. The problem I have is I'm married, and my wife isn't of the book. She is agnostic, and I've seen people explain why our marriage would be okay, but there are people who see it otherwise. She believes in God, and some have said that it's okay for me to be a Muslim husband with someone who believes, but she isn't a Jew, Christian, or Muslim, so she isn't of the book, and others have said she needs to be one of those three. We've been together for a long time, so I'm not divorcing her. Any advice from actual Muslim anons?

Fundamentalist/traditionalist islam says that you can't marry anyone but another Muslim, it also says to leave your current wife or husband and find a Muslim wife or husband if your current partner doesn't convert to Islam as well.

In my mind it doesn't matter if your wife is agnostic or a Christian, in Islam they're the same - i.e. not a Muslim.
