The recent plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) promised reforms necessary to pave the way for the realization of Chinese dream.
Xi said everyone has his or her own ideals and pursuits, in addition to this shared dream, "realizing the nation's great rejuvenation is the greatest dream of the nation", Xi said.

Many aspects of Chinese and American society are the same, yet more efficient in China. For example, China just censors the internet and its people directly, whereas in America, corporations do exactly the same thing (Twitter, etc) in a more haphazard and adhoc way.
Americans are managed by propaganda campaigns and behaviour modification approaches, whereas often Chineses are just told what they can and can't do directly.

I don't see how China can become a nation to emulate when you still hold onto the tactic of promoting "Traditional Chinese Medicine" simply as a way to artificially create a national identity after having destroyed and suppressed the actual philosophies that China has held for many centuries. It is hollow and ridiculous to act as if you are somehow rebelling against colonialism and the west by engaging in practices that you know to be obsolete and useless, and in many cases not even Chinese as animals are sought out that are not indigenous to China at all. That is a ridiculous pacifier and it holds no value for anybody outside of China and in fact obscures modern Chinese policy and doctrine that genuinely is worth consideration. Now everybody is talking about bat soup from a picture that didn't even come from China and you can barely refute it because similar conditions do indeed exist within China, and this is what the discussion is about even during a time in which China is finally creating genuine technological competition that could be admired without the shadow of this virus crisis. This is just one example, I see China as a nation that takes steps backwards when it does not have to, and when you stumble in the face of imperialism you will always lose more ground then they do, as they don't have to care about the people when choosing their own actions. It is making great advances but China does not yet understand how to communicate its virtues to populations used to the propaganda of the western hegemony, and so its influence is needlessly depressed.
