If continuous use of a drug destroys your genitalia, it is bad for your body. Second, all someone taking such drugs is doing is taking steroids. But what if the child only thinks they are transgender but are just confused? You can't even change your name or go to college till 18. What makes to think altering your whole body at such a young before learning Algebra 2 is a good idea?

Long story and you may not see the point: I discovered something I thought was interesting. Accents. Peoples accents are not what the sound is, but rather how your brain interprets the sound. That's right. Its subjective. A person's accent is actually your perception of what you hear. I found this out by seeing peoples response to a single person speaking. For example, people from one country will hear an "i" as an "e", while the speakers countrymen will simply just hear it as an "i". Reverse the situation and exactly the same thing happens. The sound doesn't change, its people's perception of the sound that changes what they hear inside their head.

This leads me to think that what people see is entirely subjective. I dont mean just a difference in clarity, perspective or angle. No, rather in how their brain interprets the input. While we can for the most part all agree on generic identifiers, "its a house, that's a car, its a nice painting", how we assess visual input, particularly of animate living objects, can be quite different, just like accents. For some individuals the difference can be quite pronounced.

That is why a person you might think is quite good looking is nevertheless quite convinced they are ugly. That's why anorexics are convinced they are fat although they are starving to death.

Consider the transsexual now. We look at them and usually see a man dressed like a woman, but they look in the mirror and they only ever see a woman. Thats why you sometimes get these guys are look like caractures, hideous, obviously a man, right down to the stubble and receding hairline, asking for validation. They look in the mirror and they literally, in their brains, do not see the male features. They see a female. Its as simple as that.
