You can't evaluate a theological piece in the light of the scientific method, sure you can evaluate a theological dogma in the light of philosophy but all three disciplines (science, philosophy and theology) pose different questions.

Heisenberg and other fathers of quantum theory were aware that philosophy (metaphysics) precedes science (natural laws) and pointed to platonic forms as a proof.
In this case if you wish to challenge Islamic dogma you need to dismantle its aristotelic premises and not rely on observation.
