How is your local supermarket handling during the pandemic?

How is your local supermarket handling during the pandemic?
Went to the store today to restock and add 2 more months of supplies and over here you are required to wear a mask and gloves inside. Limited people allowed inside at once, special elderly hours, food display items removed, desinfecting whole store every few hours.
Everything is still fully stocked.

Was there a line outside? How long did you have to wait?

They've stopped claiming the supply chain is fine here. They have rationing signs up in every aisle. Shopping takes well over an hour minimum because they limit the numbers allowed in.

Didn’t you have the injuns fucking with the rail lines in January? That can’t have helped
Our supermarkets where pretty empty but they’ve started to fill back up again

Damn sorry for your bread lines. Down here we are well stocked... So far.

Our store hasn't reached capacity from what I could see. Maybe people will say the fuck away since 2 walmart associates died of Coronavirus. It's over, guys. This is the end. We're fucked.

“Walmart Associates”.

Why do burgers give their employees retarded titles?

If you work for Walmart, you’re an employee of Walmart not a fucking associate of Walmart.

Bought another week of supplies for my family.
No rush, few ppl. Only 2 counters open, so there was a 10' line

They started closing all the entrances except one and forcing people to wait in a line to get in. One good coof down wind could catch about 10 or 20 folks at once.

>he hasn't read "Made in America" by Sam Walton

Same reason everyone calls wagies super heroes. We have the mindset of children.

All the grocery stores in my area are fully stocked now because there's fewer shoppers. I even bought a box of latex gloves which had been in short supply.

No idea. All stocked up for the summer. Just need to go out to pick up this years chicks. Maybe some more seeds for the fall.

ah yes, because walmart workers are the epitome of health and well being

We are superheroes to the lazy niggers siphoning my tax dollars.

We're on the frontlines of america as a third of all americans shop here on a weekly basis

>work overnight at Walmart
>literately not inconvenient by corona at all

Feels good to shop and get everything I need first in under 5 mins everyday

Yes, there was a line. Like 10 minutes. I live in a town of 15 thousand. Everyone had masks on already.

Stores here are stocked. The initial TP and canned goods rush passed 3 weeks ago and shortage only lasted like 2 days before it was restocked. Pretty much 0 stuff done to prevent infection, you still have to get your hands dirty touching stuff coofers have coofed like the pin machine for your debit card etc. Most items arent even wrapped in plastic. Some shops have hand-disinfectant that everyone touches at the entrance as if that will help. Masks still dont work over here yet.

Key worker here! Fuck your queues.

working in a grocery store is so fucking soul draining. I get ptsd to this day if I hear any other the 10 songs they had on loop during my 6 months there.

Literally got stopped for not wearing a mask or gloves.

I had to wear my scarf to enter. What a joke

any of*

At some of the supermarkets I go to now(live in new joisey),

>Limited amount of people allowed in at a time to promote social distancing, so have to wait in a line outside
>For really popular items like water bottles, toilet paper, paper towels, alcohol, etc, can only buy a limited amount at a time
>Can still find most food but you have to get to the supermarket early to get the best selection
>Toilet paper and paper towels getting harder to find. I'm still able to find it in almost every store but not as numerous anymore.
>Haven't found anymore alcohol/hand sanitizer since march.

The supermarket that has been the best at making sure food stays continuously stocked to me is ironically Aldi's. I'm great ful I live just 10 minutes away from one.

Good morning breakroom Walmart user! No matter how down you feel, just know that you're a hero to a lot of people right now!

If my unemployment says I have 0 effective days this week but says the payment was released, do I get paid still? Gonna go shopping with it

Based Slovenia. Everything is orderly. You come to the store, they give you gloves, they don't let you in without mask, they enforce distance.
Everything fully stocked. The State functions perfectly.
Everyone respects quarantine, literally 100%.
We're more German than the Germans themselves, I tell you.

How can other "countries" even compete?

if I got fired 6 months ago can I still file for unemployment?

>still fully stocked.
>still
jesus prepers are retarded, supply chain is not in any danger, all temporary shortages are caused by retarded normies buying 500 loafs of bread and shit like that

Working at walmart was the most soul crushing 6 months of my life. Can only imagine how hell each day is. That's the one place I don't wanna step foot in during this thing. The poorest, dirtiest and dumbest of society can be found there.

We don't have preppers here. The State told us "don't be a disgusting hoarder". Everyone respected it. The State said "we have enough of everything, don't worry, nothing will run out". We trusted the State. Now the stores are full. I love this country.

I have a lot of markets near me, all of them doung just fine currently

Hey, your flag is missing the Triglav.

I know you were hoping for positive attention with your post and picture, so here's your (you). Enjoy your daily 10 seconds of attention.

Probably not if you got fired. I was layed off specifically because of the virus. You have to lose your job at no fault of your own.

Thank you. Here's a (you) in return.

Our prime minister openly stated WHO doesn't know dick about anything and pointed out how they spoke about no human to human transmission awhile back. Also pointed out how asian countries that use masks are dealing way better. So everyone is told to use masks. If you don't have a mask prior entering the store, you will get one and a pair of gloves.

I have a bluetooth earbud people mistake for a hearing aid. That lil nigga is the REAL MVP.

>Good morning breakroom Walmart user! No matter how down you feel, just know that you're a hero to a lot of people right now!
It ain't gonna last.

No one cares about countries the size of a van.

Just six months? Really?

It's a cozy setup you have there just didnt have anything interesting to say about it.

What do you think happens once farmers get infected and spread it to their farm animals? Farmer can't bring in workers to help out with harvesting and things go spoiled? What happens once the truckers bringing raw materials, food and essentials starts dropping dead? What happens once all grocery store workers get sick/die do you think people will volunteer up to die with no PPE?
People will hoard out of panic, things wont get restocked, riots, looting, panic.
Won't happen in good countries with relative low infection at first, but shitholes will get rekt.

Were fine up here. This guys probably lives in van or Toronto. Every rural place in this country is moving along as per usual with the addition of plexi glass in front of our cashiers like were some kind of inner city degens. Aside from our crippling taxes and communistic overlords the country is as good as ever.

I have not been outside for more than a month.
I believe they are still functioning properly, although our country has gotten stricter restrictions related to going out.
I'm also sure there may be a few lacks here and there, but they should be fine.

they out of my favourite paprika crisps

Based. But how did you manage to get enough masks for the populace? Huge stockpiles from previous pandemic scares? Self sustained production? Over here trade schools are starting to sew makeshift masks because all our industry is completely gone thanks to the globalists that moved everything to China for profit.

I don't want to expose myself so I'll buy in bulk. What's the prroblem?

They did say some "posh" items might be gone and difficult to restock.

Fuckin right just six months. I'm in a city so, easy to get a new job (or it was). Literally every employee that worked there was just fucking drained of life.

Its a thread about grocery stores. I didnt put a lot of effort into.

Test

Not in Van. Shit is fine here

>Literally every employee that worked there was just fucking drained of life
Have they considered pounding a Monster energy drink?

Attached: 1583490381059.jpg (687x566, 108.22K)

>But how did you manage to get enough masks for the populace?
Every post-Soviet country has a stockpile of PPE to last 3 more world wars.

all energy drinks are an energy scam because of all the citric acid. Long term they screw your calcium metabolism and lobotomize you.

I dunno, I'm a human resources management 3rd degree engineer and I hate filling these empty positions

I still haven't seen toilet paper for almost one month. I got 41 rolls one week before things went nuts, but seeing how the lockdown keeps extending, I'm feeling a bit uneasy.

It’s funny, Walmart in Canada is actually really nice, I lived in the States for a few years so I know what this user is talking about, I once went to the Walmart in South Central LA so I know what user is talking about, but it’s weird cause here in Canada Walmart is at the level of Target in the states...

It's kinda retarded tbqh... The drivebys are overbooked and the super markets allow only a hundred person at any time. But I went to the supermarket the other day at 8h30, there was two dozen people waiting and by the time I left there was literally not a single soul outside waiting. We didn't even have a single case in my city, but everything on lockdown anyway.
It's fine I'm paid to stay at home and play vidya and jerk off, but still that's just weird especially compared to how we did jack shit during the swine flu.

The previous government that resigned left us with 0 supplies. They refused to adapt measures to the bitter end. If they kept power we would've had 20000 confirmed cases by now since it was the doctors that brought the virus from Italy and the government refused to do anything.
Luckily a center-right government took the wheel, closed everything down, forbid movement across counties. Shut down major events and ordered a fuckton of supplies. It was a day to day race. Germany spit in our faces and took 1 mil masks that were meant for us. Our Czechbros helped us out and redirected flights straight to us during critical times.
Local businesses turned around overnight and started producing masks. Being able to produce 10000 per day at the start, now up to 30000 per day. They stated they can go up to 100000 masks per day, but since the risk rises with more workers that will be initiated in a crisis.
Only when there are enough masks will shutdown loosen up. Also the opposition wants people dead and keeps shitting and trying to prevent measures for their dear life.
It's a hecktic timeline.

For what do you need so much toilet paper retard?

>What do you think happens once farmers get infected and spread it to their farm animals?

Should only be a problem in Arab countries and Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Just wait until you find out what we call people who make sandwiches

>The poorest, dirtiest and dumbest of society can be found there.

Try going to a dollar store sometime. Wal-Mart is a paradise by comparison.

Haven't gone out to the store in a month - but ordering online there's a lot of substitution going on for common stuff. Whether it's because of actual shortages or whether it's stores trying to clear out their inventory isn't clear.

You might be able too.

A true statement.

The supermarkets I go to haven't changed at all.
Maybe because my people don't panic like niggers.

Meanwhile, back in the states...

On Friday morning, my local market was fully stocked on meat with a limit of 2 items per. Eggs were back. The gallon jugs of milk were oos, but quarts were available. Canned goods stocked with a few items missing or shallow. Even the service deli and in-store Starbucks were open.

And no line for me, but they were set up for one.
