MSM is not covering, nor unfortunately are most independent journalists, the fact that governors all across the United States have been precluding doctors from prescribing and pharmacists from fulfilling COVID-19 prescriptions for chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine for prophylaxis or in an early onset basis.
Most states are requiring hospitalization and a positive COVID-19 test to get a prescription fulfilled. Most states cite shortages (yet there is no evidence that shortages exist) and the fact that lupus and arthritis patients need the drug yet missing their meds for a month will not be fatal.
No one is pressing these angles. Here is my independent research, feel free to use it: github.com
You can find prophylactic support at:

And this one on SARS that is pertinent to COVID-19 (the whole reason people knew to try chloroquine was that it was effective on SARS): virologyj.biomedcentral.com
