Bro just go to the grocery store and buy food when you need it dummy.

Math. Rice for example: the average person needs at least a cup of rice for a day. That's 365 cups of rice. Or pasta. Average need is 250g, times 365 that's around 91kg. Don't get me started with good nutrition - that's luxurious and you don't need that for just a year. You'll survive, that's what counts

A table spoon of crisco would kill me. That shit is terrible

>1 year
>no water
dead in 3 days

this

You will kill yourself before a year if all you're eating is vegetable oil and beans.

You can literally buy a million different varieties of dry and canned foods. You just need to worry about having enough calories and macros. Buy food you like, that you will eat, that will meet your nutritional needs. There's no need to make the lockdown as miserably as possible by trying to prepare for $40 unless you are desperately poor.

wtf can you even make with that? Boiled grains?

a woman for sex
just imagine not having sex for an entire year, haha

Why the fuck would anyone need sugar?

Alex, you forgot your referral link

>powdered milk

Canned goods can openers

Kek, but a year ia stretching it a bit too far

>basic supply
>the only thing with value is the legumes
lmao, you don't need salt, sugar or cooking oil if you have nothing to use it with

Crisco is a brand that makes many products. It clearly says canola oil on the packaging

Pure carbs, shelf stable for eternity as long as it stays dry and will keep you alive if everything else fails.

you'll also lose your teeth

Sure, if you have nothing to clean them, but you'll live.

Food pyramid.

Grocery stores will always be stocked. If not, then people will come and rob you anyway. It will never get to that point.

>a bit too far
haha

Imagine using virgin imperial units over the chad standard international units.

365 rolls of toilet paper.

What do you need sugar for?

In this case, just respirators to get food. The stores will remain open and stocked, otherwise the government will be delivering food to your door using pajeets and changs.

>Hurr the government will collapse/lose control

This isn't nuclear war. I'm not a nothing burger but a fucking virus doesn't end in total anarchy and famine unless you live in a city.

dry foods. canned goods.

isn't really good for a "basic recommendation"

I wouldn't expect a prison island to understand.

Boiled grains are a perfectly good staple. The items in there are just for calories To have good nutrition you're supposed to supplement this with a garden. If you can't garden it's gonna be a rough year.

you dont need any oil or sugar

Ok Hans. I might have to get you started on nutrition.

I guarantee you that within 2months you Will suffer internal organ damage if surviving on fuckin Rice or pasta alone

If you're starting to prep now, it's too late.

Also what first post said, just go buy shit.

common sense
balls
a mason jar full of .22lr

You drink the Crisco, dummy.

>all these city faggot not ever understanding the importance of sugar for a good prep

Enjoy being a brainlet. Sugar is along with salt, one of the most basic elements of prepping

Attached: 3f5.png (249x386, 147.37K)

I haven't used pure sugar for anything for years, but I'm also not really the type of person that would eat sweets or shit like that. I guess for people that usually eat sweet stuff a lot, it can be used to bake cookies or cakes, which would have a massive psychological benefit in a crisis situation, especially for children.

>Powdered milk
This shit ONLY sells during pandemics and to preppers, and the primary benefit is only that you can have milk with no cows. Powdered milk is shit and anybody who puts it on their list of "essentials" is getting their list mostly from some 1950s government recommendation.

This. Just be normal.

Sugar is
>a top tier barter product
>essential medicine in case of sudden hypotension
>cheap calories in case of traveling
>essential if you are into food conservation
>mood regulator
Enjoy dying because lack of sugar faggots

>he doesn't cook with cast iron
not gonna make it
>no herbs
>no spices (except salt)
>no meats

>This isn't nuclear war. I'm not a nothing burger but a fucking virus doesn't end in total anarchy and famine unless you live in a city.

>unless you live where most people live

brainlet

It's always to have a supply of some kind on hand.
A year, is a bit much unless you're getting shit with a 30 year shelf life, and you will actually use some of it and rotate stock sometimes.

3 days is the minimum you should have food and water for. You can stretch the food a bit longer if necessary.
3 weeks is what everybody should have.
If the supply chain is so fucked you can't get any food for 3 weeks, then there's a MAJOR fucking problem.

You know that fruit has sugar, right? Nobody dies because of lack of sugar. I agree that pure sugar would be useful in a crisis situation though.

at that point i just drive to the nearest army base and enlist in the neo-confederacy

i use lard faggot

>dying because lack of sugar
lol

A pound of sugar can feed a family of four for a week.

all thats gonna do is equip you with the grossest tasting bean rice combos

No deenz

would be good in a crisis situation, true, but op is asking for essentials

I don't get it, I just eat steak every day here, are city faggots actually out of food?

indeed, how else are you supposed to make sushi out of all that rice without sugar

The only things the stores are really out of are canned and dry stuff that you would want when the power goes out. And the toilet paper too. Most people only do emergency shopping before a storm and that seems to be the only way they know how to do it.

The lesson I've learned from the current events is that you should buy some alcohol even if you have a plan how to entertain yourself.

Why do these people ignore that there are a billion varieties of canned food and instead always obsess over 800 gallons of cooking oil for their rice?

But what was criticized was the image in the OP (which is about a 1 year supply) and their decision to include sugar. I believe that sugar should be part of a 1 year supply, even though I usually to use it.

>flour
>yeast
>sugar
>beans
>canned vegetables
>rice
>pasta
>salt (kosher and iodized)
That should be what should be in your pantry anyway.
>water goes out
Lmao at city niggers who don't have their own wells. Also your water isn't going to go out. If you're that paranoid about it, get iodine tablets.

Imagine buying kosher salt...

I mean it’s understandable tho.
1. assuming any outside movement is impossible in worst case.
2. Stock of things with endless or near endless shelf life.
3. Things you likely won’t eat unless you are left with nothing.
4. Large storage space not required.
5. Survive as long as possible without re-supply.
6. In likelihood of less than worst scenario provides a reasonable base to supplement easily with more savory fare.

Based bushman

>25 kg whey protein
>~1000 deenz
>100kg chicken/salmon pouches
>100 kg nuts
>50kg broccoli seeds (for sprouting)
>2 kg salt
>oats to taste
>50kg raisins
>365 5,000 IU vitamin D tablets
>365 g magnesium as magnesium lysinate glycinate
>20g zinc as zinc picolate

Alcohol is an opiate of the masses. I live in California, probably the worst state in the Union, and they push little bottles of alcohol EVERYWHERE.

>you again
>this question again
I'm going to appy for jannie just so I can rape you cocksuckers constantly

Crisco is fit only for gay fisting.

>A large supply of Meth and Benzos. Meth for energy and staying up all day robbing people houses while they're sleeping, Benzos to comedown
>Guns (just in case, most likely for suicide if things get too hard)
>Canned food
>Video games & Downloaded tv shows and movies

Kek

What's a "lard faggot"?
