Was the 90s the greatest decade in history?

No, to black and Latino for me
Christian Cruz
no but it was a hell of a lot better than this nightmare.
Jack Gray
No, the 70s and early to mid 80s were better.
Carter Martin
The truth was out there
Austin Carter
The 2020s are. You cant prove me wrong.
Apocalypse now
Levi Carter
if you were gen x yeah because american cities were cheap thanks to inner cities being containment zones for nogs they then gentrified their neighborhoods becoming rich overnight and larping as prpgressive lefties so the nogs wouldnt murder then and it worked
Parker Gomez
Every decade since the 60s has been virtually the same, the same problems, same political parties, same meaningless race/gay/whatever issues
Jonathan Wood
Yes, I only want to be running in the 90's again...
Benjamin Nelson
Yes, and at the time nobody knew.
Noah Carter
It was definitely the second best time period of the 1900s besides the 50s.
Juan Wright
Best in recent memory. Economy was humming, government was small and shrinking, technology was booming/advancing without eating into privacy and rights, no social media, there was regional variance so different places weren't all the same, and people were generally nicer and more community minded.
It's been all downhill since 9/11.
Henry Johnson
yes it was
Adam Nelson
everyone lived in the suburbs in the 90s where it was white and affluent then the suburbs became ghettos as whites moved back into cities and nogs moved to the suburbs corona seems like its about to make suburbs white again
Isaiah Brown
How do you define “greatest”?
Jordan Jenkins
bro....
Easton Hall
NO MOTHER FUCKER.
The music was alternative rock trash.
They began to promote high levels of sexuality to teenagers with movies like American Pie and shows on TV like Dawsons Crack.
I was a teenager during this time. I couldn't listen to the radio without wanting to vomit. I couldn't watch TV without watching a screen full of family niggers.
Women had the WORST FUCKING HAIR they've ever had in the history of hair. Ever.
The clothing...the god damned fucking clothes....I can't even.
They took everything that was incredible about the 80s and flushed it right down the fucking toilet starting in and around 1990.
I'm so fucking tired of you god damned kids thinking the 90s was special. It was ass. IT WAS ASS.
Fucking hell I think the 00s were better than the 90s. The 80s was the last good decade and it was kick ass. Seriously. But yea go ranting about how cool the 90s was what a fucking joke.
Cameron Howard
Shut up faggot. I'm what niggers like you called latino and it was amazing for that community as well.
Brody Wood
Only if you are a retard. White nihilists peaked as a result multiculturalism and faggottery dominated everything.
Fuck you, Kurt Cobain.
Elijah Young
no...it was the 70's and 80's
Men ruled everything. Women were still not being total whores. A guy could work one job and support a family
My dad was 27 in the mid 80's in miami, working as a PI. He said it was like heaven. The girls, the music and the scenery.
As a kid in the 70's he said it was so freeing. Riding bikes, listening to music with his friends on his little transistor radio. He said his highschool years in the 70's was awesome.
Jack Wilson
Layne > Kurt.
Julian Martinez
The Sexual Revolution literally happened in the 60s all the way to the 80s. That period was shit lmfao.
Brody Turner
>all the way to the 80s
LIES, FUCKING LIES
Cameron Stewart
would have been better if you lost the war that allowed you to leech for half a century
Cameron Nelson
>recent memory
It's called Generation X.
Levi Nguyen
dude look at the dates and the way people were dressing lmfao.
Mason Hughes
No. Why would it be?
Benjamin Bailey
I’m 40 and everything this user is saying is absolute fact. 80s was the tits. 90s were garbage.
Jace White
That was their culture. Fags didn't dress like that. I think you are confusing the stereotypes with the way things actually were, which was, a fucking ton of burnouts.
Brandon Carter
Born 1991. Can confirm cultural bankruptcy present from birth.
Hunter Evans
No.
The 2160s will be the best generation because that's when DOOM will happen.
Jayden Hernandez
Stereotypes literally exist for a reason. I like aspects of the 80s but there have definitely been better periods.
Hunter Foster
I'd say it goes like this.
1. 1920s
2. 1950s
3. 1970s
Chase Jenkins
In the early 90s, the whole concept of a "hispanic" minority group was new. Back then, adults did not know what that was. I remember watching an episode of "Phil Donahue", and he screamed "What's a hispanic?! I've never heard of that?"
People were still black or white until the mid 90s, when "hispanic" started getting more media attention.
James Morgan
This!
Jonathan Ross
Me Personally
1. 90s
2. 50s
3. 80s
The 70s had extremely good music tho.
Matthew Gutierrez
1950-1990 were the greatest 40 years this country will ever know. The decline started in the 80s and we reached the point of no return sometime in the 90s. 9/11 the body of America was put in the coffin and this covid19 was the final nail
Lucas Parker
I don't get what was so good with the 90s, my dad can't even remember them. It's a hard choice between the 70s and the 80s, but the later half of the 80s started to suck ass compared to the early 80s. However, the 70s had some pretty good benefits. Music, women, cars, video games, pinball, movies, etc.
Luis Wright
The decline started in the 40s after the war, but the 50s were pretty nice. However, the 60s was the end of it all.
Benjamin Morgan
For me it was great I used to get laid all the time.
Luke Campbell
There’s always going to be a counter culture in a free society. I understand completely what you’re saying, however
Christopher Cooper
Are you really that old, or just shitposting about decades you never experienced?
Brody Howard
When I was a little kid I was amazed.
They'd put neon lighting all over the buildings. Everywhere. I lived in podunk Allen Texas.
The pizza places. The malls. The outsides of the buildings and insides had neon lights running all along the entire upper boarders of their walls. The GROCERY STORE, inside and out. I used to walk around with my parents marveling at the world.
After the 90s I didn't see them anymore.
And I used to ask my parents even in middle school, " What happened to the neon lights? "
Sure was pretty when the world glowed.
> youtu.be
Kayden Young
40s last great decade, 20s was thee dopest of the century.
Hunter Edwards
This.
And this.
Austin Wilson
Maybe if you lived in the West, not so much for the rest of the world
Angel Gonzalez
you have a point. The media fed it. In the 90s I got sick of everyone kept telling me I loved Kurt Cobain and his music was the voice of my generation.
Nolan Allen
I mean the 90s had everything that you mentioned pretty much. The Economy was at it's best pretty much. There was good music, movies, tv, video games, the internet was new and exciting, and technology wasn't THAT advanced but advanced just enough to really not be a slave to it but still enjoy it.
Angel Russell
naw the 50's
Jaxson Smith
They didn't have the cars, music was ok, the movies weren't even close to being as good as the ones from 67-83, and the Internet shouldn't have been something we all have a hold off.
Asher Smith
Just realized that today marks 18 years since Layne Staley's death.
F
Michael Watson
Amen brother
Brayden Kelly
The 70s was cozier with less technology but adults were rapey and dangerous and you had to watch out for perverts in vans.
The 80s was amazing but ruined by a media that kept pushing the idea that nuclear war was about to happen because they hated Reagan.
The 90s was freer but more vulgar. Some good music but grunge wasn't it. Media ruined it by pushing vulgar and gay shit whenever they could.
Alexander Ramirez
the 90s were corny as fuck. everything was already fake, recycled garbage by that point.
Landon Gomez
The 90's saw the development tof the modern SJW movement. The current crop of them are clinging to ideas forwarded during that decade.
Ryder Rodriguez
No. That was the 80's. Before Hillary was allowed to burn all those innocent kids in Waco.
Benjamin Cook
1890's?
Jeremiah Martinez
Art was unknowingly controlled opposition. Find his interview with Robert Bigelow, whatever the first one is. They talk about how Bigelow got him interested AND funded his show, to explore UFOs and shit.
He was a just a continuation of Mirage Men.
Still love and miss him though.
Aaron Watson
Didn't have the cars? 90's and early 00's supercars are objectively the best ever made. They have virtually all the performance potential of modern ones without all the unnecessary bullshit weighing them down. That's not to speak of the amazing sports cars out of Japan that came out of that period, or even the domestic cars that finally offered some respectable performance for the first time since the 60's.
You can say many things about the 90's, but to say they didn't have the cars? Crazy talk.
Carter Ward
the movies were close and probably the only time they were close to the movies released from the dates you mentioned. Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, The Silence of the Lambs, Titanic, Schindler's List, and the Matrix all came out in the 90s.
I guess we just disagree user, but I respect your opinion.
Jeremiah Scott
I wish I could be a young American in the 1980s
Luke Morales
It wasn't the 90s that started that is was the Feminism, Sexual Revolution, and Civil Rights movements of the 60s that really began that shit. Everything has just been downhill since.
James Harris
336-323 BC was better
Nathan Reyes
Alice in Chains is one of the best bands in history
Brandon Williams
Their cars were plastic pieces of shit compared to the ones even from the 80s.
I'm disappointed that I've only seen Schindler's List and Titanic, and Titanic sucked.
Brandon Evans
without a doubt, and they're easily a top 5 for me.
Anthony Anderson
> I wish I could be a young American in the 1980s
Me too man. I always think about if I could go back in time to just one day, I might ignore all the historical nonsense and just go back to spend one day, walking around in 1985.
In America I almost don't care where.
With a big giant grin on my face.
Julian Cook
Probably. Although the early noughts deserve a shout out. Loads of credit. People all owned houses due to sub prime. We had the Internet but not social media. Things just started turning to shit twenty ten.
Christian Ross
Titanic is one of those more acquired taste type films, but I came around to liking it and appreciating the acting. Tis a notorious film regardless.
Daniel Murphy
LOL, okay boomer. Take a good look around you. 90's cars are still on the road in 2020. It's called engineering and as it turns out, plastic can be made to be incredibly strong and last a long time.
If you drive a modern car, 90% of the heavy lifting behind its design was done in the 90's by Toyota and Honda. Thank a Jap when you see one.
Zachary Perry
Yes.
RIP Art Bell.
Luke Sullivan
No but it was better than now. Everything post WW2 has been degraded beyond belief.
Jacob Mitchell
Hey, you guys got a kino war. We just got fucking democracy.....
Austin Kelly
>Titanic sucks
Damn, what's it like not having a soul?
Noah Walker
Fuck off zoomer weeaboo, you are contributing nothing to this discussion. Guess what? Seatbelts and shit like that didn't start getting added in the 70s, so you will have to thank us for that one!
Connor Ramirez
Watch Mr. Plinketts review if you want to know my thoughts and feelings on it. It's an average film, but I just don't like it. Too nu-hollywood.
Tyler King
Things seemed happier but I think people were just blissfully unaware how fucked up things really are and how things work with the elites.
Juan Sanders
There was a real joy in wondering what other places were like.
I used to think America was a place worth visiting. With calafornia being high on the list.
Now I know its just as shit as everywhere else.
John Barnes
I'm a dyed in the wool millennial and I'm a car enthusiast. You braindead boomer fucks who still think "plastic cars can't last" have been proven wrong by the test of time.
Even King Auto Boomer himself, Scotty Kilmer, bitches about this shit, yet he only drives 90's and early 00's Toyotas! Funny how that works.
Jackson Anderson
Old fag
All true the world was free in the 70’s
We elected Jimmy Fucking Carter who the kike dik suckers made quick work of.
With Regan, came the end of this era and ushered in Stazism where kids turned in their parents for having pot pipes because the fuvking scum boomers biggest brought the police into the schools in DARE programs making the fucking fascist pigs the authority figures to be respected, “were here to help your parents.”
At the same time they killed unions and created a crack epidemic in the slums using the proceeds of Ollie North, and his assorted niggers to import vast quantities of coke into the US to fund black gov: ops. All proven in a sentinel piece in the LA times whose author was later murdered.
Smegmerica is a scum hole like a horse fucking woman’s puss in a Tijuana bar. The US IS A FASCIST CRIMINAL EMPIRE THST NEEDS TO DIE!
Samuel Lopez
Yeah Hollywood really pushed California as some magical place but when ever I see it in live-streams it just seems like a husk with a seedy dark underbelly.
Cameron Johnson
yea honestly this. Everything has just been a downhill slope since the end of WW2. The 50s were the peak of the slope and now we're practically at the bottom.
Benjamin Martin
No it ended with Reagan.
