Tucker was one of the earliest hysterics believing coronavirus was going to genocide mankind. He literally flew to Mar-a-Lago to personally demand that Trump "take action". He clearly recognizes he made a mistake. He's been trying to backtrack this past week, and his Friday broadcast was basically, "My fault. It's just a flu, after all."
>What does 'being ahead of the curve' mean? It means that you know the trend before it occurs. >Tucker freaks >NPCs freak >Tucker gets over it >NPCs get over it
Jack Diaz
Being wrong earlier than other people are wrong isn't something to be proud of.
William Hernandez
He was early in that he said stop looking at the impeachment and build a giant AIR WALL between USA and China/places the chinese are in.
The air wall happened too late, the wuflu is here, and now it's how do we live with it,and it's him going 'Well, too late to stop it so let's just get on with our lives' which is sensible. Based tucker is just continuing to keep baseding.
Luke Cook
Maybe the models would be right of we did nothing to change.
Liam James
the whole thing is a mass panic desu
yes lots of people die if you do NOTHING
but if people aren't completely braindead, you don't need 100k ventilators, shutting down everything for a year. and of course covering your goddamn face when you have a respiratory infection lmao
Thomas Myers
exactly. the officials don't even shy away from the fact that they are doing better than expected but always affirm that they need to maintain the level of attention so that things don't get terribly worse
no, he was just relying on officials who have been proven to be lying
Nolan Jones
I was very concerned about the virus back in Jan/early Feb too. Since then, it's become increasingly clear that it is indeed being overhyped, and that the consequences of government hysteria (loss of liberty & nuking the economy) are far worse that the threat posed by the disease. There's nothing wrong with changing one's mind in light of new facts. Good for Tucker for having the courage to admit that he was wrong.
John Peterson
Absolutly moronic take. An engineer never builds or takes action based on what his calculations tell him, he takes action based on what his safety adjusted numbers tell him. Engineers routinely "overdesign" by making their structures and designs handle 2 or even 3x the load and stress they are meant to handle. Why? Because no human can account for all possible scenarios for all time. Tucker is just a political hack who knows nothing about the practical application of science in the real world, and has just gotten the tap by his jewish corporate overlords to start pressuring Dahnald to re-open the economy so they can continue to reap profits while the plebs die.
Jaxson Howard
simple as.
Kevin Lopez
Fuck off liberal shill why don't you and your jew friends try to ruin some other countries economy?
Evan Lee
I've been following Taleb and obviously with pandemics you want to overreact early and get a handle on things. Obviously now we're starting to get a handle on things and wuflu isn't nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. So it's time to look at the data, which we now have, and start relaxing some of these government policies, state by state, and see what happens. For instance, if you work in small offices (not cubicle farms) where you can maintain social distancing rules and have plenty of hand soap to wash your hands, those businesses should consider re-opening. Small shops should reopen, but reduce the number of people allowed inside at a time, and see what happens. Keep the schools closed because children are a terrible vector, but move things more in the other direction now and see if that causes big problems.
Jason Thomas
>Government makes a dire prediction >We need to take action >Takes action >Disaster averted >It's the government's fault!
Gavin Nelson
Being right about the social trend is something other than the absolute truth of the situation.
Asher Butler
This was the correct position. >Do something to prevent it coming here >oh look they did nothing, now that its here dont fuck the economy over
Benjamin King
>takes action You havin a giggle m8?
Brandon Evans
If only the country did some radical steps to stop the flow of the virus, oh wait? Man I really wish this shelter in place shit never happened, these nothingburger posters would be shitting themselves
Chase Sullivan
100x this.
Imagine if everything just worked by the intended numbers? You would have bridges collapsing everyday and planes falling out the sky.
peak hasnt even been reached can someone oounch this fucking dumb guy in the face please?
Nicholas Parker
You posted this one other time unsuccessfully You format like this as though you're making bullet points I've never seen someone subtitle a webm that way As though for easy consumption The filename is very strange 1 post by this ID You equate reporting the extent and spread of the virus to "hysterics" It's almost like you're here with a purpose, basically, "you glow in the dark you fucking nigger"
all corona "its just a flu" bros, should walk around corona hospitals...get the "just a flu" and show the world...for science! otherwise shut the fuck up >pic related pants pisser in charge should be the main one walking around ICU without his mask on
>An-Cap Ah yes, I presume you think that without this lockdown the numbers would stay the same? Fuck off. If there wasn't a mass shutdown, there would be an untold number of dead, a depopulation so massive that it would destroy your precious GDP.
Jeremiah Baker
The whole point of the lockdowns is to slow spread and prevent the surges, the models are what happens without the lockdown and people actively taking precautions
>I had chemotherapy to fight cancer so I don't die >the cancer died and I didn't >the chemotherapy was pointless, I only did it because I was told i would die
Isaac Smith
>Obviously now we're starting to get a handle on things No we aren't you fucking idiot. I also follow Taleb, and you clearly have no idea what he is talking about. This diseases estimated R0 factor, which already bullshit because of how shit our data set is, already indicates that if left unchecked it WILL (not can will) spread to almost every individual on the planet given enough time, the same way everyone on earth has experienced the common cold or flu. We don't know if reinfection is possible, we don't know if there are long lasting side effects, we don't know so many FUCKING things.
Jack Harris
It's almost like social distancing and stay at home orders reduced the need for hospital beds which was the entire purpose. Weird how that happened. Has Tucker gone full retard?
Eli Morales
>Has Tucker gone full retard? He's gone full Jew. Never forget Tucker is bought and paid for by Fox News. He isn't independent, he just gets a little longer leash sometimes because he gets ratings. He is a slave through and through.
Nicholas Gray
How is he so based?
Juan Sanders
I'm not even sure if it's a mistake. When a new pandemic breaks out and you have very little information, but you know that the government where the outbreak started loses their shit and quarantines entire cities and welds shut the doors of people who may be infected, and you know this shit spreads very quickly, but you don't know if the death rate is accurate at all because china was lying about the extent as much as they could, it's prudent to react quickly and be prepared. If you later find out that the disease is actually fairly mild after you acquire more reliable information, it's reasonable to relax your reaction to the crisis. The behavior is entirely rational and justifiable, even if you were technically wrong. Although personally I'm still not entirely convinced that this is just a mild irrelevant flu.
Brandon Diaz
>the models are what happens without the lockdown and people actively taking precautions non falsifiable premise
as of 2 days ago we have fear stoking news talking heads saying that even in the best case scenario with the lockdowns going 100% we are looking at over 200K dead in the US, with a potential of 1M+. they were stupid enough to put out retard level numbers like that, when things don't pan out and they try to shift the goalposts by claiming the lockdowns were miraculous they need to be forced to eat their words, and in a just society be put to death for deliberately creating panic to make a profit
Jayden Phillips
in flyovers no one is doing that and we have no massive outbreaks like you all told us we would seems to me that coasties can't get their shit together
Nathaniel Kelly
Tucker no longer cares because he found out Hasidic Jews (and other non-whites) will be disproportionately affected by Coronachan. He thinks a few dead fat fucks and boomers is a small price to pay for the purification of America.
Thomas Lee
Maybe we really did need to make the sacrifice to bring back the sun
Brody Gray
>The behavior is entirely rational and justifiable, even if you were technically wrong. if you are a member of government and you short your stocks just before crashing the economy - and it does not turn out to be anything more than the seasonal cold - your assets should be seized and you should be swiftly and publicly executed
Lincoln Myers
Dis be like another Flu!
Juan Bailey
Tuckers whole schtick of "everyone is arrogant and incorrect but me" is so transparent. Can't believe rubes get taken by him.
James Barnes
he's a silver spoon doing this for fun
Carson Reed
Yeah in that case I agree.
Ian Anderson
based
Ayden Wright
>loss of liberty & nuking the economy > implying you had liberty before > implying the economy was good before
Engineers don't overdesign anything when there's a budget to follow. Everything follows minimum design requirements and if it fucks up, no one is legally responsible and it becomes an "oh well, we followed the rules, but shit happens".
t. actual engineer.
Easton Sullivan
Thats called a projection, they came out 2 days ago, the US isn't there yet but you will be.
>The rapid spread of this disease causes hospital surges without lockdowns and enforced social distancing >We did the lockdowns and distancing and the surges didn't happen, what a waste of time This is retarded, I'm surprised Tucker is being this stupid. This pandemic has barely even started yet, you Burgers not being able to understand basic shit is going to get you all killed. This virus is the end of the US empire no matter what, you'll either collapse under the mass death from the virus itself or the massive social unrest caused trying to prevent it. Lose lose for you Burgers, it's legitimately sad.
The problem is that a lot of retards who think like this user shorted the market long after it collapsed most of the way down. Now they are heavily invested in pushing the cataclysm narrative. This isn't just retards and shills on Yas Forums, it's high level investors, hedge funds, media owners, etc. They will have to unwind their short positions before they allow their media to print optimism. That's why there is so much momentum behind narrative engineering. Big pharma incentives simply exacerbate this situation.
Brayden Rodriguez
So your saying the policies to flatten the curve flattened the curve? Scandalous.
Tyler Wright
You're repeating a phrase that was put in place because they knew the lockdowns were unnecessary from the beginning.
Jason Ross
>Tucker was one of the earliest hysterics believing coronavirus was going to genocide mankind. >He literally flew to Mar-a-Lago to personally demand that Trump "take action". >He clearly recognizes he made a mistake. >He's been trying to backtrack this past week, and his Friday broadcast was basically, "My fault. >It's just a flu, after all." So, like Yas Forums?
Ryder Walker
Fuck off retard, I am also an actual engineer. I don't know how things work in shithole Denmark, but in the United States if you are licensed you are able to be held LEGALLY LIABLE for every design you issue. It is standard practice among all engineers to add in a safety factor at the end of calculations to ensure that your design can more than handle whatever the fuck it gets thrown at it.
Ian Russell
the world's governments are run by the same retards that started hoarding TP and launched a mass panic. It's not an intentional failure, they just overreacted "just in case" and now it's all ogre for the world elites.
Angel Davis
Publicly admitting that you were wrong at a time when most normalfags and 99% of the media are still in artificial panic mode is commendable though. Still would have been better had he trolled the hapenniggers all along.
Brandon Edwards
>DESPITE MAKING UP ONLY 13% OF THE POPULATION
Michael Ward
what if I told you the policy was ineffective because groceries stores are still packed every fucking day
Jose Edwards
>a lot of retards who think like this user shorted the market long after it collapsed most of the way down. Nice projection retard. Tells a lot more about you and your priorities than mine.
Oliver Collins
Whether you personally shorted it or not, your worldview has been shaped by those who did.
Ian Morales
Again, nice projection retard. You, the person who desperately wishes the corona virus is a hoax so that he can go back to slaving away for the profits of his safe and isolated Jewish master, claiming that my world view, one where I wish to avoid a severe and dangerous disease which has a high likely hood of slaughtering my friends and family, is claiming that my opinions are the fabrications of those who seek only economic gain.
Ayden Powell
You take a stupid take from your very limited point of view. I work in telecommunications and I could tell you the reverse. All communications network are made to fail under high demand. It is assumed only s small part of the possible maximum load will ever appear. Over designing communications networks would require putting 10% of total GDP into maintaining it at all times. Same in computer programming. No one actually proves the integrity and consistency of operations outside of a few college exercises. There are new strands of coronaviruses appearing every five years on average. Should we shut down everything every five years? In fact make that every year for new strands of common diseases. the end result of your 'over designing' would be a complete collapse of any kind of industrial society.
Thomas Hughes
Because the US is in free fall and he's covering for Trump. It was cool to panic when it was China.
Jackson Walker
My business, which I own, is doing better during this hysteria than before it. I'm actually advocating for a return to sanity which is against my financial interest. I advocate for it regardless because I've always defended the truth. You on the other hand are deluded by people with a financial interest in deluding you, and people like you. If you can't see the obvious even now then you'll just be dragged back to reality kicking and screaming.
Brandon Lee
Yep it’s a joke. Once a virus gets passed the borders there’s nothing you can do.
Easton Martin
Hey, retard, you can use twice as much steel as you need to, you can't hire twice as many fucking doctors.
Thomas Carter
>We don't know if reinfection is possible That's not how viruses work
Xavier Wood
It's Milwaukee, dumbfuck
Samuel Williams
The flu is a serious thing, the kungflu is indeed not smallpox but it's still making a lot of damage because western nations were completely unprepared. A true modern nation would have first of all increased control at the borders, it would have already built numerous facilities specialized on infectious diseases in key locations,it would have produced tests and masks; searching for the infected, confining them and treating them. Instead of that, we're either doing absolutely nothing (the herd immunity meme) or using quarantines which are medieval tier. We are no better than the third world, completely powerless and all tat because we have greedy bureaucratic minded retards at the lead. The virus should be a nothingburger but it's not because we are morons
Aiden Hernandez
Milwaukee is 37% black.
Anthony Rogers
They'll need those vents so they can get them out to smaller, isolated areas once things settle down. I predict this shit will bounce around for the next few months.
Gabriel Stewart
Ironically, coronaviruses are forms of the cold, not the flu. A coronavirus is never a flu. This is actually a very bad strain of cold, not flu.
Cameron Roberts
The major happenings will be in 2-3 months when countries cannot hand out any more money and we have no choice but to open up fully again. Then the boomerpocalypse will truly happen.
