I can't even stress enough how amazing small town America is. Despite it's problems (unemployment, opiates), small town USA is the last bastion of the real America. Look at small towns in Northern New Hampshire and Vermont. Fuck I would give anything to spend the rest of my life there and raise a family there.

same in norway... looks like utter shit. am a burger living here and I have to say I miss people giving a modicum of shit about their front yard. norwegians have the shittiest yards I have ever seen... no sidewalks either. kids can ride their bikes in the middle of the road with drivers who drive like total assholes. fuck me for moving here

because we don't call it collective housing, we call it an apartment, they're just how you screw yourself over in the long run by paying too much for a space, usually in the rural US people just get a house amongst friends or family.
