we're not running out of ventilators either way NY started with 4k, bought 7k, received 4k from fed (+ 1k from china reported yesterday, + some minor amounts, + supposed to repurpose bipap machines ... etc etc) they have 4.3k patients in ICU, but news says there are only 2.2k ventilators left.
