Why dont (((they))) want you to own an airplane?

The (((regulations))) today are way too strict and expensive for most people to comply with

Fuck the FAA. If you can buy it you can fly it.

Most of these retardniggers should not even be allowed back on the road after quarantine, let alone allowed to fly a plane.

I almost have enough shekels for a MiG 21, what happens if i fly it out of my farmland with no loicense

F

bobs will get you

just take the "experimental" pill

This, I was thinking about this. Drones have made avionics super cheap. People have jetpack that are basically 4 mini get turbines and a set of wings. There is no reason why we shouldn't have $20k personal jets.

Problem is, those little jetcat engines have no lubrication system so they only last about 25 hours

It's a filter for responsibility considering the danger of a crashing plane, just book flight hours if you want the experience.

Gyrocopters seem cool, you wont fall like a rock if you loose power and you only need a little bit of runway to take off.

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 54.6K)

Get the MiG-19 and then just say you're a farmer our in the farmland

Have you guys never been in a city that has those rent scooters, or segways, or even just lots of bicycles? E.g. Washington DC. It's horrid. People are morons and have no concept of personal safety or the safety of others.

I'm all for such regulations if it keeps jetpacks out of the hands of urban poor people.

Ive never seen one for sale in the usa

Join an aviation club where you all share the aircraft and maintenance costs. Paying maintenance costs for even a small piper or cessna is too high.

Dude anyone can buy a plane. I’ve rented a Skyhawk dozens of times. I’m VFR only though. But my current passion is Paramotoring. No license required.

Most people wouldn't have the intelligence to fly one. It's not like driving a car. Way more complicated, never mind the insurance costs if something fucks up. I think you have been playing way too much GTA kek.

You're retarded. The registration is the least of your expenses.

What is difficult to own in the states are certain types of military aircraft unless you are loaded as fuck.

But you can buy 1960’s Cessna’s for prices Americans pay for new trucks. Just saying.

This. The vast majority of the population can barely drive a car effectively. Operating a car requires someone to steer the car, give the car gas to accelerate and press the brake pedal to decelerate. If they're heterosexual, they even have to master the art of pushing in a clutch pedal while changing gears while accelerating/decelerating. Now imagine putting the average person in a machine which requires them to monitor airspeed, angle of attack, altitude, avoid bad weather, turbulence, etc. If all of this hasn't convinced you, imagine Natron (pronounced "nuh-tron") Nathaniel Green getting into an aircraft and successfully piloting it from point A to point B. Imagine his big, nigger lips protruding out so far that they block the airspeed indicator and he rotates his light aircraft well below takeoff speed. Imagine the 42-inch rims he outfitted his aircraft with sparking as they strike the ground and Natron attempts for the second time to rotate the aircraft well below the required speed. This time, imagine the aircraft stalling and crashing into your house and exploding.

If the batt3ry tech gets good enough, maybe someday personal vtol will be clean enough for mass deployment. Get asteroid mining working to drop metal prices, too.

Build your own
Designate experimental
Avoid 80% of the FAA red tape
Protip, don't build a fucking jet, they're stupid
The most important thing about flying is always knowing where and how you will crash land. It doesn't matter how rigorous your maintenance routine is, there is always a chance that something will fail, as with any machine. This is the first thing both of my flight instructors taught me.
Based on this, the safest personal aircraft is something with big wheels and a stall speed of about 35mph, this will greatly increase your chance of survival.
t. pilot

This
Most people wouldn't think to slow down before landing or deploy flaps at 30° all at once at like 100kts and bye bye there goes your flaps

This guy is enslaved to something dumb. Can anyone tell how I can tell?

Why go through the headache of owning a plane when you can simply borrow one from Alaska Airlines?

Does the lax rules regarding homebuilt experimentals apply to ex military jets? Because fuck mechanics, theyre kikes and im not paying them $20,000 to install a $5 part and fuck the FAA theyre bureaucratic control freaks

Keep the prices high, technology shit, some questionable monopolies, avoid retards from owning or piloting one, force a lot of (((oil))) to be used, ...
You know, the typical situation where the government pretends to save the day but ruins everything, then shills the very few good corner cases of its retardation to justify the entire mountain of poop it manages.

Consumer gear is made stupidproof and "boring". Ubiquitous vtol would kill a few people and then save many as flight safeteched.

Spotted the butthurt nigger.

You fool, consider yourself lucky, your regulations are very very permissive by comparison. We cannot even take off and land on our own property legally, or do instrument flight. USAs LSA license and experimental aircraft rules are pure anarchy.

A massive fine if not prison time

Most people aren't intelligent enough to drive a car, or use a computer. For some reason we feel compelled to enable them to do so. It's curious.
No, a manufactured airframe is just that, you have to design and build it yourself, or from a certain kit, if you want to designate it experimental. Some manufactured extremely small and lightweight crafts can be designated experimental iirc, been a while since I checked.
Also, you should be your own mechanic, if you really care about your safety, and your passengers.
It's probably a really unpopular opinion but I've always felt that if you don't understand how the machine works, you don't have any business operating it. Plane, car, lawnmower, bicycle, power drill, etc, across the board

yes literally... MOST airspace is unresetricted and open. You only need a license to radio a flight plan into controlled space around urban, airports, national park sanctuaries, or military space. If you have a runway on farm land you can buy and fly anything you want.
And if you build it and register as an EX craft, you don't even need certs on maintenance.
Lastly, 40 hrs for a PPL is easy, so fuck off - This thread is stupid.

Imagine how people who can barely drive are going to suck when you get them airplanes.

Unfortunately all my extra cash goes into my sail yacht.

>The (((regulations))) today are way too strict and expensive for most people to comply with
This is true, but this means that if it is so involved, you could turn it into a business to deal with it full-time for other companies. You totally can own an airplane if you have the money and the resources. Companies almost never own their jets: they buy timeshares at a rental company with other companies and spend their allotted time that way to use the planes if there is a pressing need to use it quickly.
The way this usually happens is that a company raises capital to buy a plane and then sells timeshares to pay off the investors, or it is the investors themselves who also get to use the planes. Once they have fully own title in the plane, they take out mortgages on the planes to buy more planes. They also hire people that take care of the plane and deal with the regulations as well. My cousin built out his

Because they dont want just anyone flying around in a manned cruise missile? How is this hard to understand?

Here's why
youtu.be/fjrxfrr7oE8

>Most people aren't intelligent enough to drive a car
True. Most people are awful drivers.
>computer
You think so? Do you refer to coding or just general use. As even the most simplest in Africa seem to be able to use them now.

imagine not building a stealth drone you can fly in

also an acceptable hobby.
I think people dont realize how quickly they piss away 4k on shit -cars, games, subscriptions, eating out... you can have a pilot's license, you can get a sailing license, you can rent planes, boats, buy a jet ski, a snowmachine, get a 4 wheeler.

like, pick a hobby nigger, the world is out there!

Or a air to air missile into your tail

What do you think is more complicated as it pertains to understanding how it works, a car, or a computer?

Air traffic controller here. Fuck off you absolute retards.

All turbine warbirds are registered as experimentals

>expensive
Trump is doing everything he can to get free jets to his billionaire handlers.

Attached: t (46).jpg (1507x1111, 183.08K)

Welp I got sailing, scuba/spearfish and motorbike so i'm good.

Propellers are for faggots

Brush your teeth nigel
Wait till they reach TBO and buy em cheap

Ahhh how it works. I see. Sorry I thought you meant for just usage. Computers of course. Most people couldn't fix a computer to save their life.

Fuck you city nigger, I'm gonna advocate for personal jet packs for everyone.

>t_(46).jpg
God, I'd hate to have to work on a saturday. I hope they're at least paying you well.

>you wont fall like a rock if you loose power
YouTube will show you differently

The regulations aren't even that strict. You can even build your own plane to fly around so long as it weighs a certain amount and doesn't hold too much fuel.

>I've always felt that if you don't understand how the machine works, you don't have any business operating it.
Women and nonwhites are the reason this is now unpopular and everything is castrated with mandatory nannies instead so they can halfass it without consequence.

That would make getting to work so much faster, i live on an old 4 acre farm out in the country. Dont grow anything though

Bet ya there will be a fucking ton of accidents after this is over due to morons forgetting how to drive.

Don't gyrocopters have the negatives of both helicopters and airplanes? Dynamically unstable but also has to move forward constantly?

>>Fuck the FAA
probably for the same reason your mom isn't sucking my cock right now

Theyre very strict, i dont think youre even allowed to fix your own plane and you have to pay a (((mechanic))) to (((inspect))) it every year.
>Sorry goy, your airplane doenst meet our ridiculous standards, thatll be 500,000 shekels goyim

Lmao imagine having your political opinions influenced by a single picture and a poorly centralized headline

>computer
How many people die when your computer crashes?

Gyrocopters just behave like a lame version of an airplane

Thats why drones are regulated now. Theyre rc helicopters designed so even the dumbest nigger can film himself shooting up the block from the air. Most white men who own airplanes, regardless of complexity, are capable of maintaining them safely. As long as you follow the hourly service schedule from the manufacturer to the letter youll be fine. Some feminist cunt i knew at college ranted at me about how sexist mechanics tried to take advantage of her by selling her an air filter. Women are idiots who shouldnt be allowed to own anything more complex than a bike

>Designate experimental
I don't see how this could possibly be a way to sidestep red tape. I was strongly considering designing and building a car from the frame up using available engines and other parts. Then I looked into how you would go about getting it registered to be street legal. The amount of bullshit red tape makes it impossible. In order to do what I wanted I'd have to build several and then pay highway safety testing companies retarded amounts of money to crash them. This is why you never see new car companies coming into existence. If it werent the case you'd have every hole in the wall mechanic shop building their own line of vehicles.

Oi, do you have a loicense to post your opinion here lad? Didn't think so. Gonna have to report your non-essential ass to tha guvna

Shot down desu

What kind of weak ass flaps are you using on your imaginary aircraft??

It has less to do with govt regulations and more to do with the insurance companies. You can buy the planes easy (they're actually far more expensive to fix and store than to buy outright) , but if you even want to be able to fly them legally you need to properly insured and the insurance companies will not insure you unless you go thru a bunch of training and other hoops getting type-rated on the aircraft you want to fly.
The more dangerous and obscure the plane, the less people there are out there qualified to evaluate and type-rate civilian pilots for it. Same goes for airplane mechanics It's a small group of people that all know each other for the most part.

Oh, and even when you are properly insured/type rated and have spent the money to make sure these planes are safe to even fly, they still malfunction and crash - usually causing plenty of death and destruction.
t: has a rich boomer dad who flies all kinds of old warbirds like in OP's pic

Tell them it's a crop duster.

The average person has an IQ of 90. Do you really want your skies full of Amerimutts zooming around in jets?
There is a reason airline pilots have an average IQ of 130.

Yep. When auto trans and power brakes, power steering, came to autos, boom, tons of women started driving.
Now it's even worse with all this automated steering and braking and air bags and shit
Just learn how to drive lol
Find out soon when you get your vaccine chip I guess
>comparing cars to planes
They are 2 different worlds. There is a lot of empty space in the sky, there are VFR flight rules for craft without radio. There is very little leeway or free space on the roads
So far as new compaines and safety, licensing, etc, everyone should look up Moller Skycar. Great design, I wanted one since the 90's. Why doesn't it exist? FAA red tape

You don't want complete fucking idiots to go up in the air. Even aviation involving only one pilot by himself in an airplane can result in multiple casualties if a stupid fuck crashes into the side of a building (intentionally or unintentionally), or just falls out of the sky right into a busy intersection. Idiots will also disobey air traffic control instructions and fuck up traffic around airports if they crash into another plane and cause a major delay because of the flaming wreckage sitting on a runway or near a hangar.

The intense amount of regulations, training, and expense are ways of filtering out the idiots.

youtu.be/YtlBtnIo_yA

because private pilots cause most of the crashes forgetting planes can stall

An F-22 will frag you.

>rotodyne chads past you

>If you can buy it you can fly it.
That would be pure chaos. You can still fly paramotors without a license.

>If it werent the case you'd have every hole in the wall mechanic shop building their own line of vehicles.
Sounds like an anime, I love it.

The F16's would be scrambled right up your ass.
