Most chinks assume any white guy = American, so I imagine most whites are treated the same until they find out otherwise. Or if you look Russian or German, they'll probably treat you slightly better.

I went to the world expo in shanghai. They were bussing in all the rural chinks and I was treated like a deity. Literally taking close to a hundred photos a day with chinks doing that stupid peace sign.

Yeah, I remember when I first came and hot Chinese girls would want to get their photo taken with me. Chinese guys would say "HULLO!" and I'd get "Ni hao" from some friendly folks. But that pretty much ended my last few years there.

I'm also a white American guy who has been in China since 2015. I am currently in the Philippines. Came here with my wife for vacation on January 12. Was supposed to fly back to China on February 8th but am still here in the Philippines. The Philippines is so much cooler than China but there aren't many jobs here for foreigners.

I've certainly noticed quite a few of them have an ethnocentric view of society and shit, but unlike Germany or other countries their culture is actively hostile to innovation, so the best they can do is reverse engineer western concepts for their interests.
