I hate to say it, because there are good people running restaurants, but no. I do not think it is safe.

Am I a doctor, scientist, etc? No, but these fucking assholes have been telling us all to throw common sense to the wind with not wearing masks or to not fear the virus and to not be racist and go to chinatown or whatever.

We are being told to not touch things and to wash our hands. Why am I going to want to have a box of food delivered to me that has been touched by the chef, touched by a worker to take it to the delivery guy, and then touched by the delivery guy who might have eaten some of my food? Around 30% of Uber Eats drivers admitted in a 2-19 survey that they nibble on food they are paid to deliver.

If you already have a good relationship with the restaurant you're ordering from, it's probably pretty safe. I order from a local pizza place and always tip well, my food arrives pretty fast and well-made. Sometimes they'll even throw extra toppings on there for me. My neighbor down the hall is a piece of shit who rarely tips and his pizzas always look like they've been danced on by a herd of fats.

I've been eating McDonalds drive through and Subway take out for work for lunch, since I don't have any food in the fridge to pack a lunch. However I did get an upset stomach eating taco bell drive shite and had an upset stomach for several hours. Taco Bell is the worst. The best is probably in-n-out, chick fillet, or something that is not fast food and not prepared by mexicans.

I learned mt lesson against delivery before fears of contamination were a thing. Courier services are just straight up fucking trash; at least in my area. It shouldn't be a coin toss on whether or not I even get my food and when I do it's an hour and half after it should have gotten to me. It blows my mind that I order from a Chipotle fifteen minutes away and the driver gets pissed when I don't tip them because they took over an hour to get to me. Don't give me bullshit about how you got lost, I know you're using GPS and you took a right when the only possible way to get to me is to take a left; you're just driving around to get more payment from your company. Also half the time it's some dumb Spic woman getting her dad to do the real work for her and neither of them can speak any sensible English.

What app? This has happened to me a couple of times and the app refunded my money within a day, no questions asked.

And one other I think Postmates? Yeah they all refunded me my money after a day or two but the fact that it has happened at least twice on all three services is mind-blowing. I don't want to blame the service themselves, I'm pretty damn sure it's just the drivers. I shouldn't have this kind of experience and after way too many I just said Fuck It and I pick up my food. With this quarantine/lock-down bullshit getting out of the room and going for a drive is actually quite nice.

i know the guy rolls the pizza with his hands but wouldn't it still be the safest takeout foods to order? it goes into the oven and probably kills any bacteria from the heat, then comes out of oven without being touched physically on one of those pizza peel shovel things and placed in the box no contact.

I went to McDonald's today and got a Filet-O-Fish combo with a bacon cheeseburger on the side. I was eating it in my vehicle in the parking lot and listening to an audiobook when I glanced up and saw the McDonald's worker I ordered outside having a cigarette.

She waved at me and I nodded and had to wait 7 minutes before she went back inside and I could eat in comfort again. I don't think that employees should be bothering or even trying to socialize with customers outside of the McDonald's restaurant or drive through, but that is another story.

I went to McDonald's for dinner tonight and got a McChicken combo with a bacon cheeseburger on the side. As I was driving to the second window the same girl was still working. She was acting somewhat obsequious and attempting small talk when she asked, 'why don't you come eat inside instead of in the parking lot where it is cold'.

That really bothered me for many reasons. First of all, I don't want my routine or actions to be tracked by a fast food employee. Secondly, she should not try to tell me how I should live my life. I do not want to eat inside because I find it less comfortable and would much rather be inside my vehicle listening to an audiobook and enjoying myself and my privacy.

Overall, I think it was very unprofessional to bring this up. I should have a clean slate with each drive through visit, not have to get the third degree because I committed some sort of faux pas. Which I don't think I did, because I often see people eating in fast food parking lots. How does she know I am not busy going to work or somewhere in a rush?

We don't see the tip until 60-90 minutes after the delivery is completed, even if you tip before the order.

The restuarant seals the bag, so the only way to fuck with it is to break the seal. I don't want your fucking burrito bowl toppings that bad.

"Leave at Door" is an option added last week, today we're not required to take a photo of the food on your doorstep so niggers can't claim it was never left.

Even if my car was messy (it isn't) the bag sits on our passenger seat, 99% of the time in a hot bag, how is that risky?

Only disgusting and dirty minorities accept deliveries from cheap restaurants because they don't know any better. They aren't capable of being strategic by only hanging out near expensive restaurants and declining bullshit like Chipotle that tips 50 cents.

The building numbers are NEVER as easy as people think they are to see, 90% of the time they're blocked by carports, trees, etc. At night they're 100% impossible to find. I always call the customer if I can't find the building, but I know many drivers that will just mark it delivered and toss the food at these bullshit apartment complexes.

The apps have "Delivery Instructions" for a reason. It's not hard to type "First left, second building on right"

Postmates is 100% garbage and the only people on there are the ones that got banned from Uber/Door Dash. Trust me.
