Month 1: Everyone will sit at home like obedient citizens, seeing grocery stores not get any better, lines everywhere... but they'll make it through. Hey, it's vacation.
Month 2: For some, cabin fever is already setting in, they want to enjoy their normal lives, but put the majority ahead of selfish desires. So they stay home with dwindling supplies, grocery stores still not getting better.
Month 3: Water and power is shutdown, ressources are depleted, people suddenly realize it's over, no food anywhere or soap... nothing. And slowly, just like that, the entire western world will fade, and vanish in a firework of cannibalism, dog steaks and bullet storms.
