Why the fuck are you and most of my compatriots so afraid of being something unique and standalone. Can you for a fucking second turn off this pathetic mindset of needing to sacrifice your culture and identity for the sake of fitting in with another large group? Especially a group that you had historical contacts less frequently than with those aforementioned roaches. We are both genetically and culturally closer to Turks and Persians than to Germans and Brits or even Italians and Greeks that we like to think we look like so much.
