There have been only three major outbreaks of coronavirus. Both were contained. CoVID-19 is the only pandemic. Aside from those three virus, none of the other infections are as severe.

Sure, it just saved millions of lives in connection with smallpox, tuberculosis, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, haemophilus B, hepatitis A, B and I could go on and on.
The fact is vaccination doesn't work for everybody and can be dangerous to some individuals, however this such a small percentage it's negligible when compared to the millions of saved lives. It's basically group vs individual interest, because the more people you vaccinate the lesser risk of contagion (especially people who weren't successfully immunized even though they were vaccinated).
