This happens here daily for a week now. We also have armed policemen paroling the streets on fucking e-bikes. I only live on the outskirts of a small city. The street lights are always on too, normally they shut off at 1 a.m. on work days. Pretty sure they just want to prevent certain "people" to not starting to loot around and sell drugs. I saw "certain" people walking around in my area a few days ago and this normally never happens because they know people call the police just on suspicion if they see something that is only visible at night when it shows its white teeth.
