In her defense. Being a nurse would be awful and I always have a huge respect for them when me or my wife are in the hospital. A good nurse can really make you feel like you matter. Even the bad nurses that are seasoned have a tough mom caringness. I could not do what these nurses do. No pay would be worth it to me.

I have chronic pain. My right clavicle is 5mm displaced. I've lived with this for years and have insomnia and other issues. The pain from something like a mask or a tight belt or something gets masked by the worse pain I feel every moment of my life.

I've been 5 days and nights without water. I have many times in the past not drank water all day, WHILE WORKING. Some of the nurses are massively obese. They are at risk, but than again would they really make it another 10 years? I think just being in public or with friends without the gear and alert level to the maximum is more risky.

It is hard, everything is pretty time sensitive and some shit can get you bogged down and then shit piles up. We also have to make sure everyone else is doing their job, like lab and pharmacy. It’s also hard keeping track of 4 patients at a time if you have multiple critical patients. You have to realize that doctors rarely see patients so you have to be aware of any changes in them and then you have to document those changes and contact the doctor and then document that you actually contacted the doctor. It’s a lot harder than it seems like it would be, but it’s definitely not the worst thing in the world.
