Trickle down economics is a straw man argument smooth brains came up with to discredit reduced tax rates or supply side economics. There is a metric ton of data about how spending increases when tax rates are lower. But in general I'm actually in favor of high inheritance tax on percentages of wealth much higher than mean. Obviously after crises taxes need to be increased but there's nothing wrong with someone being rich. I think it's a good quality or proof of inequality of skill that some people are able to earn a shit ton of money. But people who strictly inherited that money and live off the dividends, i have very little respect for.

I think 50% of the revenue I generate is fair, if you can handle managing 8 employees that's 8x what they're making for you, if you need to pay someone 25% of each employees wage to manage those employees it's still a sweet deal, especially if you have a few managers. I had a guy that was charging 120$ an hour for my labor and paying me 14$. Now I make 85$ on a 160$ an hour charge.
