A bit similar there except with Bannerlord you have way, way more options and could choose to just play it as a fighting or massive battle game. The scope is quite massive in that regard.

Haven’t played them, but Statsector is solid. Great 2D combat, beautiful map, solid lore, very fun to start your own faction. An indy game that clearly has a lot of work and passion put in to it.

KCD and Mordhau are great.

There is a single player 'OPEN WORLD' campaing where you can do whatever you choose to. You could only be a trader if you want to.

You start out with almost nothing, but could end up ruling the entire world with MASSIVE armies (that you can also control... or you can just choose to be a regular soldier in those armies).
