Is it cringe to wear military stuff

so I wanna wear stuff I bought from an army surplus, I bought a few pairs of fatigues, rat boots, and these cushioned socks, aswell as boot bands, I also got this jacket since it's cold where I live atm. I like the fatigues because they're really comfortable and durable, same thing goes for the boots, I was told by this dude that if I wear everything at once I'll look like stolen valor or just a dickhead in general so I wanna know if hes right

I have several military jackets from the 80's, mostly from West Germany Bundeswehr (they have special sizes 190 - 200 centimeters people)
The tip is; never wear full matching gear. I use them with normal sneakers and black cargo pants

I like Military gear but the clothing really I don't need.
The molle thing is just so great for when I need to expand a little extra storage.

Just don't wear it together all at once. If you wear the pants, wear a regular jacket and shirt. Surplus BDU pants make the best work pants I I have ever found. If you look around you can get them in solid colors so they don't stand out so much. Bottom line is it's fine to wear milsurp clothes but not head to toe all at once that makes you look like a sperg
