>In a year-end retrospective released this morning, Reddit says its user base grew 30% this year to reach 430 million monthly active users, as of the end of October. Its users also contributed 199 million posts, 1.7 billion comments and 32 billion upvotes, the company says.
>Last year, Reddit reported 330 million monthly active users — bigger than Twitter.
What happened to Reddit over the last few years is exactly how the progressive left has been winning for the last 50 years. I can't overstate the importance of that site becoming progressive for the political future of the West.
Ignoring Reddit or making fun of it or coping with "Go back" won't change the fact that every day tens of millions of whites go there and become entrenched into progressive political views.
Since 2016, the dissident right has been absolutely destroyed online, virtually all of its reach and influence removed. And the right has just retreated further and further into dark corners again, instead of fighting to gain mainstream ground.
>circlejerking burger goes into his echochamber instead of engaging the popular culture
Hunter Campbell
Reddit users up! Faggot count is also up! Sad!
Gavin Scott
>I can't overstate the importance of that site becoming progressive for the political future of the West. Oh cool. Based. Maybe america won't be such a corrupt shithole country in the future.
Just imagine if the right stopped being cucked by the GOP, and believed in ideals like teddy roosevelt who, famously, was a progressive.
>Since 2016, the dissident right has been absolutely destroyed online, virtually all of its reach and influence removed. This is true. Thats what fucking happens when the government and Silicon Valley join forces to silence you. Special thanks to Trump and the Republican Party for not doing a damn thing to protect free speech rights. I'll enjoy watching the Republican Party die in 2024. They have no one to blame but themselves. I'll throw myself a little fiesta with chips and guacamole made from Jeb Bush's guac bowl when Texas flips blue thanks to hispanic immigration.
Carter Garcia
So what do you wanna do about it leaf ? How do you wan't to fight the clearly left-biased administration when even r/the_donald gets banned ? Shaming is the best weapon we have so far
Adrian Scott
ok boomer nigger
Isaiah Ross
I think they are all at work. Busy with their families, raising children living a happy life. While cuckeddit is filled with 20 somethings who live in anger, they are so angry all the time, just finding new things to whine about. Sad
Juan James
No, this is utter bullshit. It's true if you watch CNN and MSNBC, I'll give you that, but no one watches them apart from my english teacher. Our memes are still the best and they're shaping the collective unconsciousness of the youth, especially white males
Nathaniel Gomez
30% Yea, I'm sure those numbers are totally accurate. Just like Twitter's active users. No bots for astroturfing and 'muh updoots'.
Judging by how their patron saint Bernie got btfo, they're a a vocal minority of children whose world views don't align with reality. Nothing new.
Christian Wood
I’ll bite. The increase is mainly from people who are interested in specific topics. Reddit is a good platform for discussion of specific topics. Games, hobbies etc. Those subreddits are 99% apolitical. The small fraction of users who populate the default forums are the trannies and mentally ill faggots that we all love to laugh at. So in a nutshell, r*ddit is precisely what is bringing down said trannies: isolation from the not mentally challenged and exposure for ridicule. They become crazier by mutual reassurance while the rest tries to ignore them until they have enough and come here.
Samuel Gray
Reddit was bought by some gay ass Chinese or some shit. Using their shit is terrible. No freedoms to shitpost constant social media doxing, and fags, like real faggy gay cucks, everywhere
Alexander Collins
and of all the millions of anons on Yas Forums, i am the best poster
Nolan Gonzalez
Those 20-somethings being brainwashed every day by Reddit are going to be the dominant voting and decision making block soon.
Guess what someone whose worldview was created on Reddit is going to vote for: Open borders or not?
Jaxon Evans
Shut the fuck up faggot Go back and stay there disgusting leaf kike
Levi Anderson
They just banned me from /r/worldnews for posting China Sucks stuff
62 year oldfag here--this is the only place that can sort of replicate what it was like back in the usenet days.
Juan Kelly
You're 4 years out of date. Name one alt-right/dissident-right person on youtube who has a large audience? Name one on twitter who has a large audience? There aren't any, but theres tons of left-wing ones.
We don't even have Yas Forums anymore. This board is a joke now. Totally compromised by shills and disinfo agents. The Yas Forums of 2020 is nothing like the Yas Forums of 2015. The shills won. We've lost the internet.
Andrew Torres
>All the new accounts are just people who have been banned.
And how much did Yas Forums, especially Yas Forums grew, in the same time, without being accessible from google ? Probably less. But it still grew, and our audience is more engaged, more productive and more politicized
Leo Perez
How did we lose it so fast?
Why is the left so good at controlling the narrative in our culture?
David Hill
Based
Womp womp
Thomas Sanders
Most of those are chinkbots. Reddit is owned by the Chinese government which is why only posts that lead towards the goal of destabilizing western culture are allowed.
Liam Brooks
Nah you can still post an opinion on Yas Forums and you won't be bombarded by 10,000 shills like on Reddit. The only time that wasn't the case was 2016-2017.
Alexander Cooper
Clown world, NPCs, The virgin vs the Chad, simp, to name some of them, are all Yas Forums inspired memes. They weren't necessarily born here, but they products of or culture. That's our strength, we generate ideas that shape the common mind, we don't need a public face to speak for us or shill for it. I'll give you that having an outspoken alt-right pewdiepie would be great, but we don't need it.
Ian Brooks
>in unrelated news, amount of Yas Forums slide threads increased by 30%
Brandon Bailey
Good, all the Cuckservatives, LOLBERGS and MIGAniggers can fuck off back there
and the number of chinese bots that are also faggots has grown by an astonishing 69,420%
Adam Thomas
Because the left uses intolerance as their main leverage and we don't own infrastructures. Since the Nuremberg trial, the left has the moral high ground, which means neutral is by default left leaning. An infrastructure, a platform, will be more inclined to ban right-wing ideas than left-wing ones. Using that leverage, the left applies its intolerance anywhere it can and everywhere they perceive a right-leaning idea. While at the same time, the right is more tolerant toward contrary ideas and likes to engage in debates, where they think they can "own the libs" and win them over. But that never happens.
Grayson Green
kek i was in that thread
Ayden Stewart
They control Sillicon Valley and every other major institution in the country. Pretty easy to win a debate when you can just ban your opposition. Whenever there is free speech, our ideas grow and gain popularity. The left knows this and that is why they are always hellbent on gaining moderator positions on all the sites. Just call all your opposition "hate speech", ban it, and then you control the dialog that every normie sees. Its that simple.
They will also leave some phony opposition around, like Ben Shapiro, to leave the impression that they are fair. But they will remove anyone who truly threatens them and their system.
Twitter, youtube, and reddit all valued free speech to some extent in their early years. Now none of them do. In the next 10 years they will start removing all dissident voices from the internet, not just from the big social media sites, but independent websites and blogs will also be taken down. Thats the next step.
Justin Gomez
That's absolutely correct. I'm glad Twitter and Reddit are irrelevant in Germany and Europe in general I guess. Here a bigger problem is woke YouTubers and Instagrammers influencing teenagers. Until maybe a year ago they have largely been apolitical, but two events have changed that.
Leo Roberts
how will Yas Forums ever recover
Liam Howard
>430 million user >1.7 billion comments So each use made less than 4 posts each on average, a month. Yeah no, let me tell you how things work kid. Reddit requires you to sign up with a username. If you want to say something out of line, everyone on the site will forever know that you said that, if you post in a cartoon forum and also post in a yiff forum, people will know, and most critical of all, if you bump your own comments and congratulate yourself, people are going to fucking know. I can guarantee you that more than half of those monthly users are alt accounts or throwaway accounts. You think they have almost 10% of the world's population regularly posting on Reddit? because you're fucking retarded if that's what you think.
Levi Russell
>Reddit says its user base grew 30% this year to reach 430 million monthly active users, as of the end of October. AND... Thats the metric they use to charge advertisers. Imagine that > those ads will cost an extra 30% Thank you master May I have Another >tfw getting your ass paddled Animal House style
Joshua Lopez
>Since 2016, the dissident right has been absolutely destroyed online, virtually all of its reach and influence removed. And the right has just retreated further and further into dark corners again, instead of fighting to gain mainstream ground.
This is how I know you're a shill. Because the dissident right is more active than ever. It's just been more censored than ever. Also you talk about the right like some group of outsiders. So go dilate more you nigger.
Dominic Reed
>They will also leave some phony opposition around, like Ben Shapiro, to leave the impression that they are fair It goes even deeper than that. It's been proven that YouTube's algorithm directs viewers of what they perceived as a radical content to a moderate one. eg : if you're looking at the top 10 speeches given by Goebbels, the autoplay will direct you to a Ben Shapiro "why nazis were in fact libs" video and all your suggestions will be of the same kind >In the next 10 years they will start removing all dissident voices from the internet Wait until your Social Security number is required to access the internet and VPNs will only be available for porn sites. China is their model
Brayden Lee
The funnily enough, a similar phenomena happens has been observed with queer, black, minority culture. Words like bae, woke, shade, fukc boi, stan, yass, fire, for example. I'm not a fan of them either but subcultures going mainstream is the genesis of pop culture.
Congratulations, you've stumbled upon "Queer Theory" Like them, Yas Forums and chan culture are part of the underclasses
Ayden Ramirez
>And the right has just retreated further and further into dark corners again, instead of fighting to gain mainstream ground. There is no way to debate on reddit. Every dissident view will be deleted and silenced.
Eli Martinez
Hello Discord trannies.
The door is over there, your pilpul doesn’t work. You respond to your own god damn circlejerk.
Charles Fisher
Exactly. Having some face that can be manipulated and slandered is exactly why we fucking hater shitheads like Spencer. Also the blatant attempts at monetization.
A couple normie hotties never hurts though, people feel bad when they get ripped on and even the lefty man wanna fuck them. Just pisses off useless leftist women and divides them.
Adam Roberts
Good analysis Bruce.
If anything I’d argue reddit has lost users.
Page views would be the best metric to go by, did they publish that?
Ian Lee
>But that never happens. Let's be honest, left-wing retards get 'owned' all the time, constantly, almost every single time they engage in a proper debate with a conservative. However, they simply shrug it off and go back to their gigantic echo-chambers filled with shitheads who will simply say "they are so evil, they are not like us, you did so good" even though they probably couldn't think of a single rational and logic-based argument. They just go back to jacking each other off based on emotional cowardice.
Wyatt Brooks
What he means by that is that leftwing retards are basically the left arm of the government/zog.
They have the financial backing of the people who pull the strings in your countries.
Gabriel Nelson
I don't know about queer culture, I really don't see any of it as long as I don't go on snapchat. But nigger culture is different. Nigger culture benefits from what I call intolerance of dumbness and overall "stickiness". A meme goes popular because of to factors : either it gets repeated, either it's "sticky", as it gets into your brain easily and is hard to get rid of. Niggers being dumb makes their memes pretty easy to understand and replicate. Before, Whites where mostly impermeable to them due to racism being the norm. But now that anti-racism is the norm, Whites don't feel the disdain and disgust they use to feel when they observed those memes. Now they even feel they're pretty entertaining and they replicate them. But in the same time, White memes being too elaborated to be understood and replicated by the nigger hive, plus the general anti-white racism they live by, makes them impermeable to White memes.
Blake Johnson
go rake leaf
Jayden Russell
And did anyone think to come up with an alternative? Did any right-wing american find a way to hold reddit accountable? No. So they kind of deserve it.
Anyway it's mostly reddit who drove me to what I believe in today (and it's not NECESSARILY white supremacy), so smart people will get out of it. If we're stupid, again, we deserve it.
Zachary Diaz
I can't count how many times i backed a leftist in a corner to a point where they said "yea, on that particular issue you're probably right". But did they ever changed their mind ? No. Because them being leftist is a matter of personal power, not a matter of rational thinking or common good.
Charles Brooks
Exactly, I'd argue the reason they don't ever change their mind is because they don't have one, they are often just extremely fearful and anxious people who are desperately afraid to be judged by others and therefore conform.
Isaiah Jackson
I've been addicted to reddit since 2009. I literally cannot stop.
Eli Turner
A good part of those 430 million are Indians. In fact, in the next 10 years nearly all user growth would be from India on English sites.
>tfw poopjeets will finally fully adapt SJW ideologies in the coming future Can’t wait lads
Ethan Taylor
is exactly how the progressive left has been winning for the last 50 years. LOL
Elijah Cox
This explanation makes the most sense. The combination of isolation and Chinese dick sucking robots is actually weakening their political reach.
James Cox
So it's just poos and throwaway accounts then, alrighty.
David Moore
>fighting to gain mainstream ground you can't host a website, you can't do online transactions, decent chance you literally get arrested the fight has to be to infiltrate this organizations at a high level, or somehow create new organizations and not get them banned
Connor Roberts
Reddit is their downfall. Groupthink like lemmings leads them all over the cliff.
Henry Barnes
Disparaging reddit culture does work, I haven't been back for 6 months after realizing there just isn't discussion there.
Upvotes don't work that well in large groups, what you end up with is the air of being convinced channeled into every post inspiring other idiots to do the same without as much inspection.
Logan Morgan
Reddit is an abusive platform.
Jonathan Allen
>Did you just assume my poo ?

maybe in your personal interactions it's easy to 'win' debates but on the internet at least; switch out the terms in your comment and you sound just like a lib

novelty is addictive, that's fine normally but not when it's a game of dislodging your assessment of what really is novel.
I was able to stop most news and feeds after reading The News: A User's Manual - Alain de Botton. He encourages you to detect the the archetypical styles of stories. He is essentially anti-story because no one uses them in good faith.
Dylan Turner
now, are these 'debates' with people who have actual standing or just people you know through one thing or another and aren't reasonably expected to know all the fine axiomatic and statistical nuances?
Evan Sanders
>isolation Not really possible, the site doesn't encourage filtering or limits it to 100 subs as if there aren't over 100 tranny subs that show up in the main feed. It should really filter words and users who praise other enemy users too regularly.

you think Yas Forums has pull? these BHW lads make thousands of accounts a day to shekel farm all over the internet most of these accounts will belong to them
Josiah Miller
This is a major problem.
The right just retreats back to the containment zone of Yas Forums and therefore has no influence in the mainstream, while the left aggressively take over platforms like Reddit and Youtube.
THe right has absolutely no desire to culturally fight, that's why we have been constantly losing, having to cope with Trump as a victory even though he's just a 1980's Democrat. We've adopted the left 40 years ago as our base for the right.
