Sorry, if its true, then it's in the best interests of the government to lock down as long as possible so they can figure out some sort of solution at all. Construction workers will be relatively safe in most lockdown areas as long as everyone else abides the lockdowns. Its likely in britain we see a near complete removal of public transport, or atleast, public transport becomes extremely isolation friendly.
The government absolutely shouldnt tell the public if what my previous reply says comes to pass. Every government in the world is banking on the fact that once you are infected, and survive, you are immune, meaning lockdowns allow a slow drip of cases that their healthcare can handle, until eventually almost everyone is immune. Realistically, the gov should be granting many benefits to those who remain in lockdown, while allowing those who do not wish to remain in lockdown to go outside. This will eliminate the retards while keeping the smarter ones alive and safe from the virus.
