In the Netherlands we pay like 36k a year to manage each refugee. And with the refugees who get accepted, only 35% will have a job after 15 years according to historical data. While a steady amount of 65% will remain unemployed after 15 years. The ones who get a job will get a low wage job, which means they won't be net contributors to our finances.
So 6k is literally nothing compared to the long term economic damage refugees cause.
The timing of this is terrible, with multiple countries having their borders already closed AND terrible economic times incoming that will destabilize the EU, yea now they're gonna try to impose sanctions on its members?

The problem with that is that there was a previous decision by this ECJ that specifically named the member states. The charge against Hungary in particular is that even though they are not named is that because they are part of the EU they must comply based on a general provision. This is essentially the general overriding the specific.
