Thus the best form of evidence for the manned moon landings would be an (i) independent country e.g. Russia, China, Japan or India, sending a moon orbiter to take high definition photos of the flags, the footsteps and the apollo craft (ii) which can be repeated many times to the same result (iii)
It costs $150million for a moon orbiter approx $75 for launch and $75million for the craft, this would be the best $150million ever spend.
The best evidence we have today for Apollo is
>a) the lunar rocks
>b) the laser refractors
However they do not verify(ii) man went on the moon they couldve been collected by Rovers.

*Manned landing is the key word - intelligent skeptics who request proper evidence, do not dispute the unmanned landings e.g. rovers, generally they have satisfied the Popperian test for falsification.
The manned moon landings do not have to be true to be inspiring, they saved millions of lives from a potential nuclear war, and it should be known that the Soviets also faked their first spacewalk among other things.
