electrical engineer here. higher frequencies hold more energy than low frequencies. also you have a lower range for the aignal thus you need to jncrease the transmission power of the signal. so all in all you get a much stronger radiation when going with 5g in comparison to 4g. then if you tune the 5g tower to 60 ghz, what it should be capable of, you get theresonance frequency of oxygen --> oxygen will start to vibrate 60.000.000.000 times per second and the signal will lose 3ven more of its power thus they need to increase the transmission power even further. and people will breath this oxygen that is swinging in. i guess it is really harmfull at 60 ghz and not usefull as a signal transmission. but even on a bit lower frequencies it should be harmfull for us even if bought scientists will tell otherwise. it is a microwave oven after all.

As a person who worked in IT and took numerous physics classes during his comp sci degree. Essentially based of Einsteins work a photon, which is what EMR is, has momentum. The momentum is based on the frequency/wavelength(they are the same as photons move at speed of light usually). Essentially, at a high enough frequency they have enough momentum to knock a electron out of orbit, thus ionizing an atom. The required amount of momentum for an electron to be removed is known as the work function. Generally speaking most work functions exist pretty high up there. The lowest known work function of an atom is caesium. It's work function is 1.95ev. If you throw that into E=F*H that means a photon needs to be at 4.94E14 HZ to ionize caesium. That puts it about 5E3 times away from the necessary frequency to ionize the lowest known work function. So ionization which is the cause of most bad things due to radiation is outta the question.

People sometimes mention that microwave ovens use less frequency then that and still do shit. That is because they excite water molecules by their polarity. To do that in a very small space they need to use about 600/1200 watts to do that in a small space. A router goes up to maximum 20 watts or so. Nowhere near enough to properly excite water molecules.
