Uruguay is okay, but, like the rest of the Americas, it will be muttified in decades, even if it is 85% white today. It is also a non-country. There is no hope, so any fighting is useless. A white country of 3 million people in a mutt continent has no future.

Uruguay has a population of 3.5 million, and it is surrounded by a population of 400 million mutts. Like most huwhite countries, it has a laughable birth rate, and it has free movement with Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Venezuela. Someone from Africa could travel to Uruguay and get a residence permit in hours.

I don't think the Uruguayans who do not browse Yas Forums have a clear feeling of what a "med" is, really. They feel that their nation is the child of Spain and Italy, but they identify as "white" or sometimes as "European".
In America, people obsess over their ancestry: "I'm two thirds Irish and one fifth English!". In Uruguay, nobody cares, really. If you look white, you are white, or "European" and you identify with Italy and Spain on an emotional level, but you have no knowledge of the ethnic divisions in Europe.

If I was you I would go to Montevideo for the authentic Uruguayan experience (TM) and also because the rest of the country is practically uninhabited. But please note that you will find something that looks like a European city in ruins. Colonia del Sacramento is gorgeous and looks like a real-life XVII century town, but it is in the middle of nowhere. And Punta del Este is the Uruguayan Ibiza, so it is a nice -but expensive- place.
I don't think the police is easy to bribe. If you try they will put your ass in jail. Also, guns are so unusual that I actually don't know how easy it is to get one. It is probably very hard.
