This is the first reported case of COVID-19–associated acute necrotizing hemorrhagic encephalopathy. As the number of patients with COVID-19 increases worldwide, clinicians and radiologists should be watching for this presentation among patients presenting with COVID-19 and altered mental status.

I experienced this with what I know was an early case of this here in the USA. I had exposure to a Chinese kid who went to NYC from Christmas break till the 2nd week of Jan. His mom came back sick wearing a big white mask and two weeks later all the other kids had this ‘viral bronchitis’ which I got. They were well in 3 days usually...I had the cough for 8 full weeks. I had a very bad dry sore throat one morning for about an hour, a slight fever for an hour or so 3 days later and a cough that lasted for weeks. Felt tired for the first 3 weeks. yes and no. pandemic curves all follow the same form of trajectory over time, there are a few unique points with Corona that are abnormal but those could just as easily be explained by media or public awareness. Did it start in November/December or did it start in February? Why such a long delay in presentation and recognition, why so diverse presentations with common symptomology? It just doesn't make sense.

The real issue with Corona is the logistical aspect of it. Models just are accurate enough to determine predominant timelines, and the only real thing that is known is from point of outbreak and mass exposure to a populous, it takes a minimum 3 months isolation to reduce virility and potential secondary exposure.
