A nursing student doesn't need differential calculus, but it's a hard enough topic that it can be effectively used to remove the unwanted applicants so that training spots are not massively over applied for.
They claim they want to best people but so does every industry. The fact is we all can't have the best and we don't need the best to deliver the best care.
In short remove the professional organizations that have vested interests in keep the supply of workers low from the training institution.

In a way you have yo be better than domestic doctors thus every foreign doctor is beter than average domestic one.

Enough do. Medical school in the US is very competitive, and international students are rarely accepted. So why the need to import doctors? Hospitals are businesses. Hospitals (especially in cosmopolitan areas) are loosing money every time they have to treat an illegal or nigger without insurance, so they cut costs by importing third world doctors.

Canadian residency is the exception. A doctor
from anywhere else in the world, has to re-do residency.
