How are my Texasbros doing? Abbott still hasn't enforced statewide shutdown and I hope he fucking doesn't. We don't need it. The cities are doing fine on their own.

It’s pretty tense user, I have papers for essential work status, and restaurants are only doing take out.

Literlly nothing is going on. Except for eateries are doing curbside or delivery. Lowes and HD packed to the gills cause people are catching up on chores. Absolute nothingburger

I agree, things are pretty chill. Panic is minimal and stores are reasonably stocked although maybe a little light on a few items.

everything's still packed over here kek. Besides the gym being closes and restaurants not doing dine in not much has changed for me.

Texas A&M user here
things have been interesting since the shut down.

Both my wife and I are still going in to work. We rarely eat at restaurants so nothing has really changed for us.

Uhhh austin had to close parks because people are idiots statesman.com/news/20200328/coronavirus-in-austin-city-closes-city-playgrounds-ball-courts

Also noticed that everyone is waving again, even if you don't know them. Like we used to do. We already had manners, but now it's extremely noticeable. Overall, Humanity is doing great here where Im at. People taking care of each other. My company already talking about building and sourcing our computer boards here instead of overseas. Pretty awesome pandemic so far bud

H-E-B basically started preparing for the virus back in January, which is why they're handling it so well.

texasmonthly.com/food/heb-prepared-coronavirus-pandemic/

Shit's proper fucked.

What? How so? I work at a&m and I'd say the response has been pretty ho hum and lethargic. Feels like a lot of people are just pretending to care so they don't look irresponsible

Doing good! Also don't forget now that the US is bankrupt...

SOON....

not surprised
from Austin initially and I recall a tremendous amount of idiots in that city.

I'm in DFW and it's terribly quiet, but there's still a decent amount of traffic on the roads, so that's good at least.

am i doing it right?

My city’s death toll is 6. Bruh, six. That’s right, 6. Shelter in place for 6 deaths... I’m not complaining because I’m an essential worker and am loving these empty roads but all this for this little amount of cases is just surreal.

I'm a student myself.
Tests and classes have been interesting.

I just go to work (construction) and stay inside, pretty chill. Desperately want an ecommerce store to work because construction work is taking a toll on my body.

Whats up SATX bro

Sup bro, do you find it bizarre that most cases are in the Alamo heights area and not the medical center?

>DFW as well
But that's DFW, there's always traffic here lol.

Fort Worth had to take basketball hoops down, and public playground swing seats have been removed. I think Dallas was talking about closing parks/trails because people are fucking idiots.

It's because its not really about Corona-chan. It's about force transitioning to a new monetary system now that the petro-dollar is basically a dead man walking. None of this makes sense unless you look at it from an economic perspective. Or even a national security perspective where you have your nation dependent on another nation over seas that is vying for total geo-political dominance.

915 WW@? I haven't left the house in weeks so I have no idea what's going on out there

New Mexico here, can I hang out with y'all? I'm Texas light. Everyone is acting crazy here, too.

mom was temporarily laid off due to the virus. brothers are looking at a 2 month expansion on their spring break. meh. im just glad its not freezing cold anymore

254 up in herr killeen K-town up in this bitch ayyyyy sup where da white army wives at

Still too much traffic.
Probably because nearly every business thinks they're essential.

and it failed. first 2 weeks all the pasta and ramen was gone. first time ive ever seen the soda isle empty. just got back from walmart and things have calmed down enough to the point where i can get bread

>Trump Tanks economy
>Trump cases massive plague

WHO READY TO SUCEDE! LETS STOP THESE FUCKERS FROM INFECTING US! LONG LIVE TEXAS!

Last I heard half the cases were travel related, so I imagine who ever came from Italy went shopping at the Quarry and infected more people there. Just my guess.

>idiots
lol imagine not being able to go to a park because the government told you not to. fag.

uh... SOCIAL DISTANCING, SIR. Sorry. :D

I live in the 09, it doesn't surprise me. Heights people probably travel the most, which I think is what caused this virus to come to town. Plus, I bet people here are some of the most likely to have gotten a doctor to test them. What I think is odd is the ages of the people that have tested positive for the virus in the city.

We are fine.

Live right on the border in Louisiana and my fiance lives with her parents right across the Sabine in TX. I've stayed with her all weekend but have to head back home tomorrow. Not an essential worker or anything so have no idea when the next time I'll see her will be since I can't quarantine and hole up here for two weeks. Shit sucks bros

City governments gave exemptions to everyone. Bicycle shops was my favorite.

Took my daughter to the park at lunch to skate on the basketball court, city crew was there taking the goals down.

New Mexico is just Texas West

I got a laugh over the liquor stores being "essential. "

Pic related yesterday
Downtown houston here

Moved here not too long ago , experienced bumper to bumper trafific the first 2 months
Now everything seems a little empty

Not sure if I should go back to dfw to take care of my parents

Going for a walk in the park isn’t going to infect anyone.

Shooting hoops alone at the park isn’t going to infect anyone.

They can’t enforce it brother. Go fuck that girl.

Come back to dfw fren.

I for one am certainly enjoying "working" from home. Shame most of the good stuff is shut down, and my town even has a curfew from 10-6, even though today the number of cases in the entire county rose to an unbelievable 9

I honestly just hope Abbott says "fuck you" at some point and pries the state open. We should enact a blanket travel ban to other states, wait 14 days, and open everything. Texas will survive for a month or so without nonessential contact with the rest of the country.

Doing okay, but it was poor timing since were about to move into new apartment. Haven't been able to see any of my family beyond dropping off supplies and seeing them in the window. I do wish Texas would ramp up on procedures since it feels so slow compared to others.

That's the problem, no one's going alone....everyone had the same idea I guess. Dallas news showed thousands of people running/hiking trails just the other day. Pissed a lot of people off, especially those who just lost their jobs, and those in the medical field.

Get fucked. Getting out and getting some sun and being active will keep you from getting sick.

Shit kinda sucks got layed off and most of everything is closed

We’re in Keller, nobody is on the trail or at the park. It would be very difficult to catch anything out there. No handrails, no doorknobs, no flat surfaces. They’re being dicks at this point.

Based keller indians

The virus can't even be transmitted in an open space like a hiking trail you brainwashed cock gobbler.

I'm in Montrose area myself

Dallas fag. my job is technically construction so I'm still working. no traffic, pretty nice. stores are pretty well stocked but I'm thinking in a couple weeks the city will eventually shut down. my parents live in South Texas so if Dallas goes to shit I'm taking my wife and my guns down to our ranch

From Farwell, originally. Grew up in Clovis and Portales. Live in Albuquerque now. Things got less and more retarded as I moved west. Technically I'm on the other side of the river now so whatever. Spanish people are mad about that still. They are retarded

Ft Worth here. My local gun shop has been absolutely ass blasted lately and they just reopened. Home Depot was doing some kind of retarded wait in line shit so I went to Lowes where they don't give a fuck. I just got groceries and the store is still fucked up. Lots of rain coming this week. Things are mostly normal here desu.

Oh I forgot to mention. fortworthtexas.gov/news/2020/03/COVID-19-PD-Officers-Positive/

Things will have to reopen in a few weeks or there will be some shitflinging.

Trust the plan

>The San Francisco of Texas
who cares

Weren't other states getting mad at us for not giving them supplies or something?

DFW here

I'm a contractor with USPS so I'm still considered essential and have to go in to the office even though I have zero work to do.

No traffic which is nice. Haven't been to the grocery store in a while so no idea how it looks. Getting tired of all the dumb fucks who are riding bikes and running for the first time in public. Tons of people just jogging in the middle of the street and clogging up the sidewalks on my runs. They're probably going to shut down our running trails because people are flooding them right now.

Seems like my neighborhood is turning into a battleground between millenials who are still grilling and partying in public, and old folks who are locked up and screeching at them to go inside

Hey everyone, get scared and put yourself out of business. Take your check and live under a bridge for a year. Get fucked in the ass when you file your taxes next year because we spent all of your money on bullshit.

Fuck youre talking about, he did. I have to drive around with a stupid fuckign Essential Worker document so i can arive and shit. There even a 10pm to 6am curefew
