I go every 2 weeks and get my high fade cleaned up; I will either shave my head, or I might run with the degenerate hippy look. I really took my barber for granted, and why aren't haircut essential? What if I am fireman, cop, military member or you know, you like to look groomed for your profession.

I wear a hair piece so I glue it to my head weekly. Hair on the sides doesn’t grow that fast.

if you're a man put a 3/8" fitting on your hair clipper and just buzz your hair every 2 or 3 weeks.

i used kids scissors for the bangs last time, intentionally make em a little rough/uneven and it'll look fine when you brush them back or to the side

I run a clipper over my head and face every few days and keep everything nice and short. It's low maintenance and looks great. Been doing it about a year now. Only silly thing is I've quite a few narrow scars on the back and right side of my head from various wounds but I've learned to have a sense of humor about all the scars on my head and face so it's no problem.

Best tip I can give you is just have some patience and if you fuck up there is always the shave it route. But yeah I prefer it and people are always shocked when they find out I do it myself. How does one do an undercut by yourself? I'm gonna shave the sides on mine tomorrow but the top I'm clueless about. It's pretty short on top but I'm not sure if I need to take any off.

I just go with a 2.5 in the lower half of sides and back then do the upper half scaling it down-up with a 5. Trim a bit around the top with scissors.
