My second-best friend in high shcool was black. He grew up in an upper-middle class suburban neighborhood and played jazz and gospel piano. He was very bright, highly motivated, well-mannered, devoutly and unhypocritically christian, loyal, reliable, and honored his word.

Decent blacks definitely exist and I've met a good number of them -- just not in the hood. When I was hired I was put in a little team with two black guys. Almost instantly I realized, even though they had been here for 4 years and I had literally just started training, they had no clue what they were doing. Within a week I was doing all the work, and they would sit in their offices and call me up to do their work for them.

The story had a good ending though, because they were so lazy they couldn't even fake like they were doing work. I was the only person in the group anyone ever talked to and eventually the bosses realized this and sent them to another place while I handled the job myself.

When I was in university my friend and I started an unofficial book club, and two people joined.
One arab girl and one black guy from one of the Caribbean islands, st. eustacius or something. He was one of the smarter people I knew. Very emotional too, but in a soft, quiet way. He wasn't loud and was always calm and thoughtful.

He read a lot, including philosophy, and he was quite good at writing. He was really good at imitating the quirky postmodern prose that american literature is known for. He's literally the only reason why I think there is a chance for niggerdom.

let me clarify: between my high school graduating class and the number of black guys in my major or in a similar major, there were about 25 black guys.
