>Amazon employees at a New York City warehouse are planning to walk off the job Monday, as a growing number of delivery and warehouse workers demand better pay and protections in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
What is work without a slight bit of disenfranchisement to the daily grind. No better time to ask for a rise than in a time of need. I wonder where this disenfranchisement stems from? Is it a tolerance or hardening effect we have been programmed with or is it to do more with purpose?
Brilliant! I am scared. Quick find a simple solution to make me feel better I know, clean building. Reality: it is your infected co-workers that are your greatest risk. Solution: stay well clear of co-workers, was your hand frequently, wipe "high touch public" surfaces often, maximise outside air ventilation of the building, wear masks and goggles if many of your co-workers have already been diagnosed and are already off work due to the illness.

Amazon is desperate for wagies ... so wagies can take long "corona breaks" and not get fired.
Wagies got out of their cagies.
Grayson Morales
These people wouldn’t have the balls to unionize, half of them probably voted away their right to bear arms, to be able to be quickly replaced by cheap labor and couldn’t use them if they tried. They don’t have the grain to do what past union men did to assert their rights, same goes for google and basically all those tech companies
Liam Nelson
I work as a DHL delivery driver, we spit on every package and the guys doing the loading are worse. I wouldn't be surprised if the poor bastards in the Amazon warehouse licked whatever you ordered too desu senpai.
We won't let you sit this one out while we're forced to work on the frontlines of the pandemic
I already know wagies are disgusting pig people. It's the byproduct of having no dignity. I disinfect all of my packages with Clorox and let them sit for a day before I open them.
Snitch on your co-workers for using the term living wage
Evan Price
>everyone but me likes amazon and uses it >everyone dies but me dies K.
Robert Fisher
Imagine thinking this a good idea when 40% out of work...hold on to that job cause there are 30k applying for your spot
Gabriel Morales
Are people that fucking stupid? They're going to get fired and replaced within a day. Can you imagine picking a time like this to say "fuck it" when tons of people around the world aren't getting any money and losing jobs as well as their homes? This is idiocracy the movie for real. Screw 'em, I hope they leave. They don't deserve it. This way Amazon will find people who're grateful.
Blake Carter
Unusual interest in polices and benefits or company information. >living wage. STAY IGNORANT FAGGOT.
Dylan Martin
>we're forced Nobodys forcing you. If shit's so bad why dont you quit. You're lucky that you still have a job dumb currynig

The reality of this new depression really hasn’t set in for most people yet. Give it a few months
Aiden Edwards
>notify your building manager if you notice anyone attempting to organize so they can be immediately fired LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sebastian Bennett
If I could quit I would, I need them to fire me in order to qualify for unemployment benefits. But since I've worked as delivery guy they'll force me to go right back to spitting on packages. It's out of my hands really desu
Landon Thomas
>everyone I know gets to stay home comfy >I still have to go to fucking work at the box factory >all the boomers there are proud to still be working, calling sick people lazy
I work in the warehouse loading that shit, we use packages to build staircases, lol. shit's wild and nobody gives a fuck as long as it leaves on time.
if you ever got a package with a footprint on it, there you go.
Robert Morris
Amazon employees are acceptable casualties. You all know it to be true,
Logan Scott
Lol, my favorite part about modern life is that people don't seem to realize 1984 style double-think is everywhere "we aren't against but we aren't neutral". Well your also not for it so wtf are you saying?
Jeremiah Brown
Jeff Bezos is the biggest piece of fucking shit to ever exist, they should burn the fucking building down as they walk away
Ian Myers
All amazon does anyway is ship Chinese goods to us. Fuck China
Adrian Ortiz
Based, so I can claime it arrived faulty and get a refund
they explain their perspective rationally and then shoot themselves in the foot by crying about organizing.
Liam Murphy
Have unions ever made a business stronger or more competitive with foreign businesses?
David Jones
Lmao >we are not anti-union >report everyone to everyone if you experience potential organisation Americans are so dense, not understanding the benefits of a union, at my job, if you are not organised you will literally be fired instantly
Brayden Rivera
i love how omega males cling to their power fantasies

Denmark has 7 times the population of San Francisco yet makes half as much money. Why would anyone listen to you about business.

>Amazon employees are acceptable casualties. You all know it to be true, It's better to not think of them as people, but rather rechargeable batteries that occasionally squirt plague juice out onto the work area.
Leo Evans
Reporter can screenshot that for Buzzfeed article
Charles Sanders
>Just SFTU wagies and delivery my packages! My index is in the mail and I want to play Half-Life Alyx NOW!!! Based ! >Wagies were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world – only to serve the NEETs. >Why are wagies needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat… That is why wagies were created.
Landon Bennett
There is no arguing with Americans. Not having strong unions is the sole reason there are people in America who need to work more than one job, or rely on tips to make a living. In America freedom means freedom to take advantage of those with lesser means, America is like China only not as productive and without thousands of years of cultural history.
Ryan Taylor
What do Amazon warehouse employees even do? Put an item in a box? Can't that be automated?
The accelerationist in me aint even mad at this point, desu. Carry on brother, let it all burn.
Juan Davis
I think it's political. They receive pressures to create a few bullshit job, nothing to complicated, human tend to fuck things up.
Jacob Williams
>we spit on every package flag says German, actions say Chinese
Andrew Morales
Denmark kept the zuckercuck out, and while it aint perfect it isn't a shithole like San fran because of it
Jack Murphy
>report co-workers if they suddenly start hanging out with people they weren't hanging out with before don't make friends wagie
Luke Gonzalez
Fucking retard
Isaac Adams
Are you stupid?
Liam Ramirez
This crisis really opened my eyes on the American mindset, it's something truly alien to me, I thought I understand the us and been there before but no. USA now looks as alien as china to me right now. Very peculiar mentality
Austin King
The only thing automated in KIVA wharehouses are the items on the floor are brought by robots to a picker. They still have to manually pull the item out and send it down to packers to get packed.
Michael Gonzalez
What a retarded question.
Nathaniel Bell
>Amazon will find people who're grateful. Thank you amazon for paying me minimum wage with no health insurance, timing my bathroom breaks and lobbying to import millions of foreigners to keep wages down .
Boomer scum like you should hang
Joshua Mitchell
>They're going to get fired and replaced within a day That's only possible because people don't organise, it would be impossible here because the business would find itself on the blocked list and wouldn't be able to find replacement workers, I guess they could import some Eastern Europeans if for some reason they would want to deal with that kind of stuff
Austin King
15$ minimum, also we’re removing wagies by replacing them with robots. DPX6 is a phoenix site thats more or less robotic, needed so few workers there, and we can only wait until we can get more automation. I’ve moved up 6 levels (method of organization) from a seasonal L1 to an L7 regional director in only 4 years. The only reason people are wagies and stuck in their jobs is usually because they’re severely lacking in motivation or are actually retarded. I have to constantly go and approve shit for my sites because they cant talk or do anything involving operations without being actually retarded. I wish we didnt give a 15$ minimum wage. These people don’t deserve it.
Anthony Robinson
Shut the fuck up communist. Go move to fucking China, enjoy your bathroom breaks in the workers paradise.
Brody Ramirez
Did you start as a minimum wagie?
Chase Martin
>from a seasonal L1 It’s like you cant even read. Yes. I will say I started in a delivery station, much easier to move up there than a fulfillment center.
Ryder White
So what? Amazon warehouse "workers" don't actually produce anything. This is like QA cunts in gaming studios trying to unionize, they have no leverage because a computer can do their job
