Here's an easy one for you. The virus has a 3.4% Mortality Rate. This is the official number from the W.H.O. based on the UNDER-REPORTED numbers from China (which are obviously much higher).
What is 3.4% of the American population? Even with adequate health care (which America doesn't even have), the death rate for America is going to be 3.4% at LEAST. This is a bare minimum number for those infected and does NOT allow for the much higher death rates for obese, overweight people and those with Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, MS and other illnesses which Americans suffer badly from.
The current population of the United States of America is 330,504,704 as of Sunday, March 29, 2020. This means that with a 100% spread of infection, you can expect a MINIMUM of 11,254,090 Americans Dead. Without even considering America's health problems, we're looking at a MINIMUM of 11.2 MILLION dead if other measures aren't introduced to prevent infection.

I would hope there aren't any people here dumb enough to believe this misinformation. The most widespread testing points to at most a .7% mortality rate, and obviously this is still only testing people likely to be infected. The actual rate will turn out to be at least several times lower.
The problem with the coronavirus is that it is much more contagious, meaning more cases pop up at once, and in those who do develop symptoms, the symptoms are more likely to be severe than a typical flu or virus.
