I'd consider a face personal information, especially during a pandemic. You can't talk about people that are patients, or their history; identifying them pretty much denotes they're candidates for coronavirus

Hell if I know why they did whatever they did, but I'd say that's a good of a guess as any. Any patients in a hospital with unblurred faces would immediately have people screaming about health confidentiality, and probably some kind of investigation, so yeah probably part of why blurred at least. If anything, yeah, they're probably trying to pass off whatever they can to make the situation seem dire. Just blur the faces to prevent HIPAA violation claims, and no one will second guess

All I can say is this... It has affected us in a negative way supply wise. I've personally seen 3 cases so far and it's terrifying how contagious this virus is. We aren't allowed to just go around the hospital and take pictures. As a matter of fact, my local hospitals won't even let in family for our positive cases. It is here, I've seen it first hand and it's scary.

I think they probably just recycled it. Like I stated earlier, they don't like people coming into the hospital without a purpose. They've got heightened security right now exactly for that. I highly doubt they'd let in a reporter in to take pictures of patients around our E.R. or any other place in the hospital just a headline.
