Co-worker had it, ended up passing away last week. She was already in Hospice because of another illness though.

One technicians uncle had to be intubated in hospital for a while but is currently extubated and recovering. None of the techs themselves were hospitalized, just quarantined at home. Only one of the patients is in hospital right now, dunno how he's doing, the rest are also sitting at home and we deliver meds to them, leave them at the door with no contact.

I had it 3 weeks ago and have since recovered. I was barely sick and was only able to get tested because it was documented that I was in contact with someone who had it and was supposedly extremely sick. For me though, it was basically like a mild cold.

I'm still kind of concerned anyways though because there have been reports about people that have recovered and then get reinfected. I don't know if those reports are accurate though. If they are it would mean either immunity doesn't last long or that this shit is like herpes and never goes away, meaning I could randomly get sick again periodically for the rest of my life.

there's 26,789 hospitalisations from it worldwide currently, assuming that the 5% of current cases being critical holds for for 150000 recovered (making 7566) and that the average person knows about 150 people (coworkers, neighbours etc) well enough to know if this has happened to them - this gives a ~0.4% chance that someone would know someone who has been hospitalised from the virus.

One of my friends got it, refused to quarantine himself from his family. He was working in Jew York City, kept going in even though his wife told him to stop going into NYC and work from home.

Now his entire family is sick, including a 2 year old. He's probably heading to divorce city.

Three people in my office have it. One person got it and two people have gotten it by working close to him. They have evacuated the whole building and are deep cleaning it this weekend.
