I thought this would fit best in Yas Forums because of all the changes I've seen in politics over the years and their direct impact on things like the economy and racial issues. Due to this covid-19 thing, and being that I'm considered "high risk" due to my age I'm not even stepping outside to collect the mail, so I thought it'd be fun to answer ANY of your questions.
If you're wondering why someone my age is on Yas Forums then you're an ageist! Shame on you! No I'm just kidding. I don't think I know anyone my age that has even heard about an "imageboard," but it's always been important personally for me to keep up with times.
Anyway, some background on me:

It was really nice. I grew up in compton when there were no niggers anywhere. It was a sundown town, and even then the police would pick them up just for walking on the sidewalk.
By the way, they were just as terrible back then. They just dressed differently and also it was strange or frowned down upon to call them niggers and you could literally call the cops..I have CALLED THE COPS on a nigger just for walking down my street.
They couldn't shop at the same stores. Eat at the same restaurants, and even though I never did, if you killed one the police would believe anything you said. I knew a guy once that did kill a black man who got started with him, and the cops didn't even care at all. It's almost though as if it was understood that they were savage animals and we didn't want them anywhere near us. This all REALLY started to change in the 70's. I still can't believe how quickly everything changed. By the mid 80's suddenly they were allowed to do ANYTHING.

I don't know what happened but I feel so sorry for people that are in their 20's and 30's right now. I didn't really enjoy the 70's all that much. Both of my parents died in the 70's and the woman that I ALMOST was going to marry left me, and I had spent most of that decade with her. The 60's were amazing though. Nothing like it's portrayed on tv. Lots of sex, good music, and awesome parties..but see that's the thing, we didn't let it get out of control. It wasn't until the 70's (and definitely the 80's) that it seemed people just couldn't separate their ordinary lives from their party animal lives.
I wish I could blame drugs, but drugs were everywhere in the 60's. One thing I can say is that there was a time when adults were absolutely respected, and the police were ABOVE the law. What a policeman told you to do, you did it. Once I started noticing that changing was when things started also changing, for the worse.

I grew up in Los Angeles. It's such a fucking shithole now. I remember reading I Am Legend and being surprised at him going places like Watts and it being full of white people.
