Music and TV are much better now. Music is not. There was little to no alternative media, and the little that existed was more bluepilled than the main stream.

The 90s and early 2000s were pretty good. None of this super uptight Karen bullshit society we have now, fags were told to fuck off, and people could actually have fun. Gaming was pretty good, each year things were improving unlike today where it’s kind of stagnant. To give more detail on that point, beyond my graphics card, my gaming PC has remained essentially unchanged since I built it in 2013. I could not do that in the early 2000s because hardware requirements were changing rapidly. On dating I can’t speak too much on it because I was in elementary/middle school. Beyond MySpace, there was no social media and no dating apps. If you wanted to get laid you had to actually go out and meet people at bars, social events, or outdoor activities etc. No swiping right or any bullshit.

So yeah, they were nice. If there is one thing that I could fucking delete it’d be the cancerous dating apps. They have fucked over tons of men from having any chance at intimacy and healthy relationships with women. That’s why this incel stuff is rapidly rising and general disdain towards women. Lots of men have not had a healthy relationship with women or experienced one so they increasingly view them more and more negatively.

There was a popular clothing brand called cross colors that had graphics of white girls with black guys and captions like "brotha love" that tons of white kids wore.

I was born late 91, so keep in mind that I was a little kid for the 90s, BUT everyone called shit gay that they didn't like. No one, as far as I remember, said shit about it being homophobic or bitched about it being offensive. Imagine if you called shit gay on reddit now. People would flip out and you'd be instantly banned and have your IRL shit posted everywhere and fired from work.

Pokémon was HUGE. You had to sit under a lap to play your Gameboy because they didn't have built in lights, but you could get a worm light. They also weren't rechargeable. You had to replace batteries in them. That's fucking right. People bought cheat code books and game guides because the internet wasn't a thing, I remember dial up lil dude. You couldn't make a phone call while online.

Cell phones weren't big and they only made calls. No pictures, no one texted, the Nokia my mom had had the game snake on it, which was cool. People listened to CDs! Limewire was a huge thing in the early 00s and music became digital. Ipods made CDs old fashion. Etc.

The 90's were shit, the music was mostly shit, and you shouldn't try to live any time but where you are. Everything else is wasting days.
You live in a much better world, your music is shit, and your TV is shit, but you have options people couldn't have dreamed of to improve your skills and become something that you respect or something that you dream to be.

I was born in 85 and from what I remember the 90’s were the only good time of my life. It was a much better world than today.

Music is a dumpster fire now. I fucking studied music theory. A lot of it from back then is simply timelessly good. It's all shit now. With TV and movies you have so many more options now. I haven't even had cable TV since 2015, maybe it's my disdain for endless fucking commercials.
