When you suffer emotionally to an extent that it begins to ruin your life (regardless of the mental disorder), you lose the ability to rationally see the future in any hopeful way. And either out of guilt, or hopelessness, or just to escape the incomprehensibly intense emotional pain, the only right decision seems to be to end it all. If suicide rates are increasing, then some conditions of our current society allow for people to be affected in these ways. Blame it on capitalism, or technology, or degenerate media, or fucked up parents, or Jewish tricks, something isn't right and we all know that.

I have. and I used to not understand suicide but now I do. Sometimes the psychological pain doesn't subside. It's with you day and night, and is strongest in the morning.

Allow me to put some logic to it then.
More than likely, this life is pointless. Most likely no gods exist, there is not afterlife, there is not fucking point at all to living if in the long run the end result is the same. Everything turns to dust and will one day become forgotten and never remembered, one day the sun will go supernova and destroy everything, that is if humans don't destroy everything first.
If you try to be logical and reasonable then you can never really have faith, and without faith you can never actually believe in life after death and so if you approach things logically there is no life after death, this is it, this all you ever will be. That being said some people say "that makes this life worth so much more" but in reality whether you die today or die 50 years, the end result is the same, nothingness. Whether you're a murderer or invent the cure for cancer, your end is the same, nothingness.
Thus if you're having a shitty life, if you're abused, or just shit out of luck, one could say if the end result is the same and you do not currently enjoy your existence, you might as well just kill yourself and save yourself the pain of continued existence.
I personally have faith in my gods. It is not logically and I know and accept that. I also accept that any knowledge of any beings so great as to be considered gods would be beyond my comprehension and thus I do not care if they are truly real, all I know is that they make me happy, give me a reason to live and that life is to coincidental for them not to exist. But before when I was an athiest I came to a very nihilistic conclusion and tried killing myself a few times because I had a shit childhood with an abusive mother and absent father, I was miserable and decided that I'd rather die than to keep living such a shit existence.

Or maybe they are successful, and all success amounts to is working five or six days a week sitting in front of a computer, doing unpleasant, monotonous things that they have no interest in, and as the thing they spend most of their waking hours doing embitters them. Divorce is another big reason, losing half your wealth or not.
