ITT: predictions what kind of enterprises will go BANKRUPT during this economic crisis

I pick Netflix.

that's an odd prediction. if anything they're going to go up, just like zoom, etc.

anything travel related is fked.

On the one hand their numbers have probably surged. On the other they've shut down most filming and once people are done binge watching this next month there'll be nothing new.

very poor start to this thread, you posted one of the least likely to crash. are you mad because yenniffer gets blacked in witcher

Lmao how the fuck does that make sense? If staying home is mandatory, most people will lay on their couch and watch T.V

air passenger travel and cruise lines

Disney is already selling IP's back, the closing of Disneyland is causing massive lost because no one really watch their transfaggot propaganda so without physical locations for selling points their shares are going tits up

I'm pretty sure online businesses will bloom. It's the service industry getting assraped. Restaurants, bars, hotels, etc, they're all fucked for probably years after this.

Here's what will survive
>internet stuff
>grocery stores
>manufacturing
>transportation

Here's what will crash
>service industry
>retail
>construction
>sports
>airlines
>fitness

I'm pretty sure I'm buying stocks in travel related stuff once there's signs the first wave of infections is past its peak and restrictions are about to be lifted. Stressed out people with cabin fever will be eager to travel to holiday destinations, everybody wants to do stuff that's restricted 10x more than they would normally want to if there'd be no epidemic, you can see it everywhere.

Why would sports take a hit after the pandemic?

there won't be travel related shit anytime soon as a matter of fact even road travel will get restricted.
The government was supposed to road block the highways a month ago but the government is as inept as ever

People could avoid crowds and gyms after this. I’m thinking about buying Peloton once the market calms down.

...

Because of increased demand they chose to lower the quality of broadcasts
(however not in LGBT shows)
They are not planing to return the money btw
Ideally they would like ppl to subscribe to their shit and not watch anything at all
cus they have to pay fuckton for internet usage

Netflix has 30 billion debt, those banks are in for the long run

Hollywood finally dies and celebs do mass suicides.

outta here you transhumanist scum

Don't forget the charity industry. I worked for a charity company until Friday when they laid off about 70% of the workforce.

Netflix and other streaming services are booming.
Either retarded or bait

>yenniffer gets blacked in witcher
Good thing I stopped watching this shit in the middle of the second episode. Couldn't stand it. Complete garbage.

netflix is a globalist propaganda machine, they wont fail until their job is done.

Dentists and dental related industries:

>mandatory 3 month shutdown, most likely longer
>new infection control protocols that are unattainable such as operating in negative pressure rooms
>no bailout, only loans
>Family First Act kills dental and all other small businesses

Think dental labs, dental supply companies, dental industries, billing companies, consultants, advertising, insurance companies, etc.

That hot hygienist that cleans your teeth is now receiving unemployment benefits and soon Trumpbux. You think she will return to her job earning less while hearing how much she’s hated while toiling in a 2x2” hole? When she wants to upgrade to a new BMW she’ll just pick up a few weekends at the strip club. RIP dentists.

There is no way our tourism industry will survive this. Its downfall will also bring down our construction sector, which was booming for the last... almost a decade now. We're fucked.

There are already airlines going bankrupt and crashing and you picked one of the last companies that'll be affected by this. What the fuck is wrong with you?

I picked up BUD as people are stuck home and will still drink. Also they tend to do decent in recessions as cheap beer. Worse case they pay a decent dividend.

Road travel is already restricted. Texas mandates a 2 week quarantine before you’re allowed to visit. And they weren’t even the first state to pass this regulation.

>fitness will crash

Get a home gym poorfag

>service industry

NO YOU CANT JUST SHUT DOWN THE TIPPING INDUSTRY NOT THE HECKIN SERVERINOS NOT THE WAS EVERYTHING FINE? TIP NOT INCLUDEDERINO

video games companies may do okay as long as they can still make games.

i just want Deutsche Bank to go bankrupt and enjoy the shitshow

>industry
Says it all
Fuck them

1) Lowes
2) That chinese backrub place at the mall.

Companies that depend upon idiotic investors throwing money at unicorns that have never profited but have great PR (see; everything Musk touches) will be hurt because they never actually deliver anything and will answer for that soon, but companies which offer products we need will be fine.

Netflix is not supposed to profit, it's a gov't op like Amazon, and after it serves its purpose it'll fail, after the tops cash out of course.

I genuinely believe that this is the end of the Australian cinema industry. Declining standards in Hollywood, the rise of video sharing websites like youtube as well as video streaming services like stan and netflix have already pushed these businesses to the brink of bankruptcy. Most australian cinemas are barely making ends meet. The lockdown could be the thing that finishes them off.

>tfw holding puts on DB

The entertainment industry is like the safest one, you are a retard.

You think the market is gonna be that rational? Up until this year I might have believed you but shits been so counterintuitive in markets I think they might be a cult

not movie theaters, they are fucked now.

The automobile industry is royally fucked due to several reasons. That means the German economy is going to get hit like Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

even prior to this the outlook for cinemas looked bleak, over here at least. i have been casually predicting the movie cinema experience will go the way of the video rental store within 3-5 years

Op is clearly a moron

Did i just get trolled?

the moron form of troll posts seems to do best... like that "I need to write 300 words by monday" post recently

You're one of those faggots who's been predicting that Linux will take over the PC Desktop space from Microsoft Windows.

Starbuck for sure, all fast food getting hit

Poor rothschild

I think theaters are breaking into two models. There’s the big budget blockbuster crowd that makes lots of money going to Marvel and Star Wars type movies. Then there’s the locally owned independent theaters focusing on Oscar bait, classic movies, independent films, Rocky Horror, etc. I’ve. The locals are often nonprofit and in either a retro building or a makeshift cinema.

It does seem really hard to operate a standard middle of the road chain theater.

They'll probably be able to retool and shit out ventilators for the next few years

funny I cancelled my netflix membership earlier today. I also cancelled 2 other subscription services

>chinese backrub place at the mall.
I dunno, prostitution is the oldest profession.

Theaters fucked, China sales fucked

chinese manufacturing.

Any company that does business with China is foolish. India will be the next China.

OP must be a Netflix PRist pulling a stunt by baiting contrarian shills to say Netlfix will actually go up, then reminding you to go watch some Netflix since you are on quarantine.

>people stuck at home
>NPCs wanting cheap mindless entertainment
Netflix: I guess we will fail

Attached: 1585344055369.gif (600x338, 3.05M)

You’re retarded then, everyone is stuck at home and have nothing to do but watch netflix

>go bankrupt
...they will get bought out. that has always been their end game.

Movie theaters have been fucked. We no longer live in a high trust society which is required to sit in a dark room full of strangers for 2 hours.

People are thinking "it's streaming, it'll be alright" but all productions are shut down and Netflix has said they have 6 months of material left. That's until September.

It's like a factory having no workers to make new shows or movies. I agree with OP, it'll tank eventually.

they aren't profitable with how much they spend on original content. it isn't contrarian. at all.

Tickets cost a lot and many people be able to justify going to see a movie at a theater if they are out of work, and fewer will shell out 10 bux extra for a popcorn and soda. Also this social distancing thing might come back every winter season. Theaters seem fucked t b h

Amazon lost money for 20 years and the stock always went up. Same with Netflix. Programming the goyim is the most important job: Netflix will continue to thrive regardless of how much money it loses

VR will kill movies just like home consoles killed arcade coin-ops.

People are already watching a lot of netflix and crap in VR which sounds retarded but you can listen to Carmack explain it and they are already selling a lot of units to millennials that live in bathrooms and coffins.

Put on the VR helmet and they're watching a nice screen in their virtual ski lodge with a fire crackling on the side.
