Anyone have video evidence of hospitals being near/at/over capacity in the US...

Can't take pictures at work because of hippa. I go back to work on Monday (icu on west coast). Was told to expect up to 200 patients requiring ventilators over the next 2 to 3 weeks. Will report the facts.

My parents work in healthcare and they said thier hospitals are very quiet, and they are destaffing people to save money and aquiring gear. Most people self quarantined so there is not many health emergencies, but soon they will all fill up once the virus takes hold. You guys who think this is fake are fucking stupid, look at how it happen in other countries.

USC and UCLA hospitals empty. Female nurses aren't reporting this as they want the attention and to be seen as heroes.

Conspiracy theory for you all. The US government released a modified strain/version of COVID-19 which is much more mild and allows people to build up antibodies against the (S) and (L) strains. The US engineered strain (U) doesn’t cause nearly as deadly symptoms like a fever and pneumonia. The strain running wild in NYC right now is the (L) strain which came by way of China/Italy.

I'm a med device rep for a brain procedure. My wife had cancer and still has her port so she has to go get it flushed every 4-6 weeks. She went this wednesday to get it flushed and it was basically empty. The cancer center she goes to is right next to the main hospital in a US city of about 280k.

One thing I don't think people realize is just how much bloat hospitals take on with elective procedures. Just because the parking lot/exterior isn't full, it doesn't mean the whole hospital is empty. Cancelling elective surgeries will do a lot to make the hospital look empty.

Paramedic in the Greater Toronto Area. I have been to all the hospitals in the area I work and none are busy. There is no surge of patients. The ICUs are not overburdened. The resuscitation areas have more space than ever right now. I don't know if it's going to get worse but I'm dismissing all health care workers who say it's a hellscape anywhere online right now without video or photographic evidence.
