I've started a large garden, like 2 weeks ago. I had a small one but I've been working on it, making a hide in the garden for pigeon, I know where land is. Even bacterial pneumonia can kill you in 4 hours. I've seen it happen. With all the resistant strains out there and infections that won't go away forever like TB or MAC, any disease that wipes out your immune system is incredibly dangerous even if it really doesn't do much else to you other than that.

It doesn't work like that. For a virus the higher the fatality rate gets, the lower will be its capability to spread. A virus needs hosts to be alive in order to keep infecting them, and using them to be carried around.

Look at ebola. It has an average fatality rate of 50% (ranges from 25% to 90% depending on the conditions of the outbreak). It barely managed to leave africa.
