Essential workers report in.
>be me.
>work in food industry as an engineer
>arrive at work, "we had our first case, some guy on assembly line, they were cleaning all night"
>look at posted bulletin: IR thermometers, masks, and other PPE are being delivered.

We make products for Costco and the US Military. The product is frozen.

Anyone got stories?

Look at that little chink bitch scheming.

My boss told me that some government officials came by. They were talking about putting up portables in the parking lot and having people sleep/live at work; if it's required.

Amazon last mile operations

Had a confirmed case in one of our stations, delivery driver. We isolated the van and tried our best to sanitize but the delivery driver was infected prior to us realizing so we may have spread that shit around.

These type of delivery drivers handle 300+ packages daily

I work in a US military installation. Our site has over 100 people, but we can run on a skeleton crew of less than a dozen. Our company can’t make up their mind about whether to send home the non-essential workers to protect the essential workers (like me), or to just carry on as normal, it’s fucking retarded.

He was infected and still driving around 300+ packs?

This virus doesn't effect motor skills apparently

3 cylinder head gasket jobs and 2 transmissions this week.

Carpenter here.
You wouldn't have homes to live in, and businesses to visit if it wasn't for my kind.
The virus isn't slowing us down at all.

Machinist here, still being a hero to engineers. Work on oil refineries stuff. If that get shut down.... well

>Yas Forumstard
>rat exterminator
Fitting.

They are still building the house next door to me. Doesn't seem essential at all. It's on the market. No buyer yet. Probably won't be a buyer for some time because no one is moving now.

still getting steady business?

>Essential workers report in.
For some fucked reason Rent a Center is still going strong

He was asymptomatic for abit while still driving, when he got symptoms he notified us but it was already to late

Also just in case yall dont know, Amazon states are well stocked with hand sanitizer TP, and Clorox wipes.

Idk where is all coming from but the second we get low a shipment arrives with a fuck ton

Building condos in San Francisco on Embarcadero on the bay (nice part). We are essential because very rich people want condos I guess

>The CCP wants me to gather intelligence!

>This one house nearby doesn't seem essential
>Nevermind the one I'm posting from right now

Guess how I know you're not very bright.

A lot of construction jobs are booked months in advance. Up until recently the economy was booming, and people were trying to build more things than the U.S had workers for. So everything is pretty booked up for the next 6 months, or so.
I would have to update after that though.

Police Commissioner. I personally supervised a lot of covid related operations since the begining of the lockdown. Shit is cash, I have almost unrestricted powers.

>commercial diver
>called out to cattle farm to dive in a digestor to remove some faulty hardware
>day 2 we are told that the contractor watched us on the cameras and complained that we weren't 6 feet away from each other
>awkwardly stand in a huge circle while setting up
>social distancing
>proceed to dive into millions of gallons of cow shit

I literally just got hired on by my local water treatment plant before all this horseshit started.
Job security + state retirement + low exposure to people = set for life

same, this guy could have been sick for weeks... and although the food is heat treated and all before packaged, who knows who else he infected at the site. Today was the first day i saw people wear masks at work. Guys were talking about how their wives are giving them shit for spending money and going out. Some guys come off site to work (off thebooks) some of them got layed off work, others were sent on unpaid holiday. Some are not going to make rent, or mortgage payments at the end of the month.

I think the fallout from the virus is going to be bigger than the virus itself.

At my place they introduced extra shift, cut hours, and reduced the speed of machinery so that people keep their distance. Since its food, there's no such thing as non essential. They banned offsite contractors; but we still have a bunch come in off the books...

:D lucky!

sounds like a shitty job but bet the pay is amazing

I am essential to your mom

Pay is great for the diver if you're union.
If you're not union don't even bother.

Work in a supermarket, there's a 10/10 goth bitch in there who's bf has died from coronavirus.
Currently trying to bang her, progress is good.

Mid-level banker here, working from home mostly right now. The all-seeing, all-powerful executive team is pretty much losing their shit and nobody knows what to do or if we're even going to be in business next year. Tens of thousands of clients emailing in all at once demanding six months of mortgage payment deferrals.

even with union pay its not enough for how much you risk your life

>live on island
>work as software developer
>government enforces quarantine
>going to work is allowed though
>come to the office, expecting company to allow everybody to work from home
>three weeks in, 50+ years old healthy as fuck boomers, who always laughed at government, don't believe in virus threat and continue to operate company as nothing is to worry about, believing it is better to just let virus spread and people get over it and weak to die
>they might be actually right

My plant makes components for semi trucks. If we stop, the trucks stop, if the trucks stop, no more supplies. Imagine a world without tendies.

I work at a scam call center lel. Stupid business owners buying our products, still making bank while collecting trumpbux.

I'm here to make sure you all get your daily dose of propaganda. It is essential work lol

Attached: the natural order.jpg (700x394, 52K)

>mom works for a business that makes shit like drywall and doors
>'hey we're essential even though during an economic downturn and huge health crisis nobody's going to be building shit using our materials'
>all the managers are work from home right now and only the plebs like quality control checking and manufacturing are actually in the facility

>3 head jobs and 2 trannies

dad?

My dad owns a construction business and they're still running at full capacity. Some dude is getting tested for Coronavirus so he's out right now, but he's also kind of lazy and looks for any excuse to not work... Probably just fishing for gibs.

Build airplanes. Several cases. No deaths yet. Our finisher has over 20 cases and a death. They go back and forth. I work 7 days a week. Thought I'd catch a break with my city locking down. So I'm exposed, only now I can't take home twin peaks roasties. What's money when you can't spend it?

Been declared essential by the main contractor so no time off and no gibs for me
Pretty much business as usual with more communism

Healthcare wagie

Shits fucked. High rate of getting sick with corona so I might have to pre-emptively clean the hard drives, clear browsing history, and delete system32. We really should be on airborne precautions for these patients but we simply do not have enough ppe or negative pressure rooms to do that. Unless we transition soon to those full body ppe suits, we might have nurses and doctors drop dead soon.

As long as you've got a competent team running shit up top you're most likely gonna be fine.

Didnt cmhc bought out all your mortgages.

>chatting with some coworkers
>new guy joins the conversation
>hey haven’t seen you around for a few weeks
>ya, new guy tested positive for Kung flu, but he’s better now
I literally wanted to kill him on the spot. Had the boss send him home for at least 2 weeks.

Foot soldier of Zog who should kill myself. Aka small town cop.

No chimping....yet.

I'm glad to hear that.

I expect foreclosures. My saint of a woman, greek neighbour moved, sold the house to this your indian couple. I hope they get foreclosed. Worst neighbors ever!

UPS warehouse. social distancing is a joke, we didn't have any increased cleaning supplies until yesterday which is now just watered down bleach at best. even with all the businesses being forced to close down we still have enough residential deliveries to keep up afloat in the short term, so only the drivers are getting fucked with cut hours (cut routes as well) for now.

I'm a carer for disabled and vulnerable adults in Hackney. Already been briefed that we're gonna find people dead in their beds. Not much happened yet though, so I'm not sure what to think desu

Report back!!!!

This is a larp but those digits say otherwise

That guy is an uncaring fucking retard.

Oh no, with currently I mean i'm talking to her every now and then.
Not gonna make many moves when she's still a mess over the whole thing.

she looks built for BBC

>chimping
I expect it to start in a month. Although there are reports of increased crime in Moscow... i haven't checked other cities.

Also if you've noticed, there's a "thieves" thread on Yas Forums now :)

im a mechanical engineer. architecture and engineering design firms were deemed essential so im still working

I work with the dead. My business is one involving death. You die, I most likely bury you.

Had a funeral, usually drop offs since the lock downs. Open the hearse, nice casket. See it's covered in snot and spittle. Told the driver to pull it out himself onto the cart. We sanitized it, the hearse, and everything else before we threw it into the vault and buried it. We're wearing gloves, masks, shields and even got guys taking zinc and vitamin c.

Keep having to yell at people to stay in their cars or leave.

Yanks and Canadians are gonna have some nice days in April and everyone is going to go outside. It's as simple as that.

Imagine the smell

Just go suck some nigger dick already faggot ass jew. No self respecting American or white man anywhere for that matter actually says that faggot shit

Attached: 1434196044802.jpg (405x720, 62.19K)

It's not bad in my hospital yet, but it just feels like we're waiting for the other shoe to drop. Every worker is required to wear masks at all times, but some of us worry that we'll eventually run out. We're also just waiting for staff to start getting sick.
t. RN

>three people called out sick last week
>still operating as normal
>put up hand sanitizer stations, left all doors (except the keycards everyone has to touch) open, and instituted a 6ft rule that’s impossible to enforce because half our work requires a close second set of eyes or an extra pair of hands

We’re “essential” but only like three people are doing relevant work my boss is just a dick and refuses to send anyone home (with full pay as the company guidelines not only allow but require in a national pandemic) like three other major plants have already done within the Corp.

Building maintenance here, I've been getting paid to just walk around and sanitize. The front desk has had so many people go home they have me filling in, so I'm making tips on top of my normal pay rate. We are trying to get a temporary 3 dollar raise for working through the crisis .

Pussy

Based digits of death. It must be an omen

Haha eat shit

Four fours as a quad

Ha wtf

Water Network Software

She was already a pretty moody girl, but now she's almost crying all day, don't think she's going to be very receptive to such an approach.

Just noticed myself, user.

>I work with the dead
>Chinese quáds of death
interdasting

next best solution is forcing coronavirus sick to camp out at their work. No risk of spreading to anyone but themselves. This is a war desu.

>4444
>DEATH

spooky

Virus is expected to peek by then. And it would be the second month of people not working. If there's a lockdown implemented; in one or two weeks people will run out of resources...

either way, i'm sure people are going to be less panicked by then, and more pissed off.

I work for a commercial concrete contractor and the entire job site has been shut down. Most of us are living paycheck to paycheck, this really fucks us up.

how did he get a test? we're refusing to test people that aren't ancient or nurses

Landscaper. Apparently we're essential for some reason. We got to clean one of our client's yard this week, but my boss is kind of iffy about it, since he was on the phone with her and she had a nasty cough. Keep in mind she's like 80 and she travels so fucking much.

Attached: 1578079143550.jpg (400x400, 9.35K)

>sanitizer
we're out of sanitizer, and paper towels.

I anticipated this, and this is why I've got a decon protocol for packages.

>wearing N95 mask, goggles, and gloves, spray the entire package on all 6 sides with 15% bleach solution, until saturation of cardboard is achieved
>wait 15 minutes
>bring the package inside, put in a corner and let stand for 15 days before opening

Welder for a military subcontractor. They arent going to close us unless half the shop gets sick. The only thing they have done is staggered our breaks and they disinfect everthing constantly. We are still working 49 hrs/week.

Hydroblaster/Vacuum truck operator reporting.

Essential support to vital industries. We unplug lines and clean equipment that plant operators fuck up. The pay is good and we are needed to keep/return certain types of industrial sites to running condition. No lay offs from any of our shops reported so far. None of our employees have contracted the virus that I've heard of (we're a nationwide company).

Everything that I've ever decided to do is essential. If a weed dealer is essential business, I'm going to continue to do whatever the fuck I want.

Paramedic. Kill me now pls
