You can but you have to be patient and familiar with how Orthodoxy specifically justifies its doctrine from Scripture. Almost every Protestant shitposter is a Bible alone Christian and despite the claims made Orthodoxy can argue directly from the Bible. Factually wrong. There's several reasons why they have less missions. Firstly they don't havethe resources and reach some more global and centralized churches have. Secondly they don't have a power-structure that drives for creating cargo-cults for niggers, for gaining influence for globalists. Jesus told us to "make disciples of all nations," but also told us not to throw pearls to the swine. Christians are not supposed to convert by word of mouth, lest they not practice what they preach, be seen as hypocritical, and lose converts. Christians should convert by example. They should strive to be holy, to give alms, etc., in desolate and faithless parts of the world, to the point where people around them start to say to themselves, "hey, I want to be like that guy."
Remember that Christianity and Judaism, though diametrically opposed, have a common origin. Since Judaism was and is ethnocentric, Gentiles prior to Christ would convert to the Faith because they saw the good in those guys (at the time) and wanted to be like them.
This is the Orthodox approach to missions. It does not actively proselytize and preach. It does charitable acts to people who know nothing about them until those people want to give back. This kind of explains the limit to their success in Africa.

Eastern Christianity never had the chance to spread because of Islam. It developed as more of an identity and symbol of resistance to Islamic expansion. Western Christianity had Eastern Christianity as a buffer and could do things like sending missionaries.

The Pope is still a Bishop, he is merely the top of the ecclesiological structure, it was true then and it is still true now. And the reasons for the schism, much like the reformation, were political and not theological.

I don't see Catholicism and Orthodoxy as separate at all. Both have a solid claim on the apostolic succession, both are undeniably catholic, both are holy. Only the Catholic Church is One, in my opinion. But both are true, and the Orthodox Churches are in full communion with the Catholic Church.
I don't care about polemics, I don't think you're a lesser Christian than I am nor do I care to make those sorts of imbecilic, prideful arguments. We're brothers in Christ. And the fact that you're Orthodox means that you're theologically closer to me than protestants ever will be.
