He was convicted of having documents that could allegedly lead to him planning a terror attack. And what triggered the police was probably social media postings and being in the network of other far right figures / honeypots.

Also I think he really fked up in courts / during arrest by not showing remorse and just putting up a defense he only had those manuals since it was a common topic to talk about during meetings with that one group he was part of. He should've said he had no real intention of carrying out anything and that they got the wrong idea. Also due to his young age his lawyer could've also used that, he was easily impersonated. Idk it seems stupid of himself he went to jail for this since even with the evidence stacked against him he could've easily avoided a harsh sentence and got away with it.
