I'm leaving Yas Forums guys. I've been going here since about mid-2013 while I was in college, but now I've graduated and have an actual professional career and can't be associated with this place anymore. It levels out eventually, prob around 5K-6K a day in the US is my guess, just based on the increase in population from us over Italy. But it could even be higher. It could be 10K people dying a day here, easily. And keep in mind that these numbers are all WITH the insane measures we've taken to try to slow it down. And there's also a lot of evidence to suggest that people have very little immunity to this thing after they're hit with it, which means we could be in for a VERY big problem.

Well this is actually the correct way of tabulating deaths with something like this, which stresses the body out over a period of a few weeks, exacerbating whatever other conditions they have and causing their body to fail in a myriad of ways.

But actually, even in the USA the death rate is already way higher. Thing is you can't calculate a CFR during the pandemic, esp not one like this, because you've got exponential growth of new cases, then you're crosschecking that against deaths when it takes about 2 weeks to kill. So that's grossly offsetting those numbers. Now even with that method of calculation you get 1.5%. You've got a 4.5% global CFR (which is far more accurate because of the point the rest of the world is at in the spread). IRL the death rate is significantly since you'll have to cut out the new cases (which make up the majority) which have not have a chance to die yet.

This is really simple math, and really basic epidemiology, but I know that for Trumptards like you it just makes your head go numb and you can't deal with it or understand it. But anyway, it doesn't matter, because time will prove you retards wrong and embarrass the shit out of you anyhow. It always does
