no probs, what you can do is get a mortgage which is a loan for buying a house, and then you pay it back per month, probably less than paying rent, and the cool thing is instead of pissing all your money away on rent and having nothing to show for it, you are gradually paying off the loan and one day you will own that house and not have to pay anything anymore! And if you want you can even sell it and get all the money back, it's a good deal.

Most people aren't allowed to get mortgages. I have never met anyone my age who has a mortgage. Even my parents are renting. I know it was more common in the past but it's almost unheard of now, at least with young people.
