Which should I move to? Everyone says Cali is so nice but it seems like it might be over rated? Why does everyone hate Florida though? Hmmm
California vs Florida?
Florida
I just bought a house in...Nevada! Hi-desert plains w/4inches rain per year and only 500 property taxes
Where do you think you’re moving the state is in lockdown.
Trick question. The answer is actually Texas.
But if you’re dead set on the first two, I’d go with Florida. There is not a job in the world that could entice me to Commiefornia.
cali is so much nicer and the people are really laid back and chill bruh.
definitely California
Tejas is going to be lost to the massive amount of runaway commiefornians and ohaioites and Mexicans.
Just look at Austin.
>Why does everyone hate Florida though
It is full of Floridians.
Jealousy, You either can't afford to move here or you have no balls.
I’m from Cali and I’d say Florida. My mom lives there now. You can get way more land for your money out there and it isn’t boring fucking desert. Also no income tax
Is this a meme though?
Yeah it is, people out here suck. And I live in an upscale community (Ventura county). God help people in LA and San Fran
Florida is great until you have to drive. Imagine an entire statewide retirement community where every old twat thinks they are the only person on the road and are too fucking prideful to admit they can’t fucking see behind the wheel anymore.
How bout San Diego? It seems like this area gets memed a lot but is it actually any good?
I could deal with that. Seems worth it.
I live in so cal. San Diego county is very nice.
But the politics of this state is atrocious. Not worth moving here. I'm gonna move out of this state in a few years.
It’s better then the option of California that’s for damn sure at least. But god damn these old people who don’t care anymore are annoying.
Florida better gun laws and likely taxes. Both have beaners and jews. Just different flavors. Ca we have wildfires and earthquakes randomly. Florida has hurricane season and roaming dinosaurs
Cali is expensive as fuck but has a good job market.
Florida is getting expensive with the amount t of Northerners moving down here. Job market here sucks too.
Go to Texas if you want a good quality of life.
>roaming dinosaurs
That’s a feature you unappreciative pleb.
Nice how
Gulf coast of mississippi is vetter than either
California lost population between 1985 and 2016? That's complete bullshit
Speaking as someone that's lived in Florida for 15 years and lived in California for about 10 years, Florida.
As long as you're not living in the southern or northern 10% you're fine. Just avoid the ghettos like you would in any other state.
Fuck California.
Fuck off, if you cannot live in Florida without AC stay the fuck out of our swamp.
You could live in a landlocked state and not get fucked by high standard of living costs or wildfires or hurricanes. Just saying.
Florida user here, Sarasota County.
Why would you pick Florida over California specifically?
Ask me about the Happenings here, hope I can enlighten all anons.
Need to be near the water.
Florida-flat, warm beaches with small waves, filled old republicans and Cubans recommend Orlando area or Jacksonville
California - hills/valleys, cold beaches with good waves, filled with liberals and Mexican recommend San Diego area
do they put something into your water?
Every road system in CA is built by someone's democrat brother-in-law and diversity hires though.
>Endless: no left turns, no shoulders, fucking loops instead of intersections, very few exits and through streets because of NIMBY politics
The traffic is not just bad because of the rampant overpopulation but because it's almost designed to keep you on the road the maximum amount of time.
They both have obnoxious tollways so that's mostly a wash.
Old people aren't banging on the door next to your shitty studio in the brief respite from the blazing blazing bario sun reflecting off every concrete surface in the ghetto for a drug deal either in FL. You might live next to the white millennials who get it from Jamaicans around 3am and they're smart enough to keep quiet about it.
There's really nice areas of florida mostly in the west coast like pinellas county, and there's super ghetto like downtown Tampa, nice suburban white areas like safety harbor. Housing is pricey outside of rural areas most young people move to either pasco, Tampa or st Pete. Clearwater is nice but pricey to live in.
Florida. But don’t go to Miami. Come to the gulf coast. Maximum comfy
Cold beaches? Wtf? What’s the point? That’s a huge disadvantage.
Collier County user here. I’d put this area up against anywhere.
Anyone who even suggests CA doesn't live here.
Stay away.
California's weather and geography is 100x superior, there is simply no comparison. California has perfect weather and geography, Florida has trash weather and geography.
If you really want to be in tv/film or silicon valley, you pretty much have to be in California.
And thats the extent of California's advantages over Florida, Florida wins on every other issue
florida sucks dick compared to cali. cali is the best state in the united states, has best cities, best nature, best culture, only problem is it's expensive, but if you're not a brain dead fuck you can figure out a way to live there. if you just want to go to work come home watch tv and go to some strip mall restaurant stay the fuck in Kansas bitch
no
>t. Faggot
The only people who like Cali are spics and homos. If Cali were nuked tomorrow the rest of the country would celebrate
Better beaches
Less political bullshit
Less taxes
Better quality of living
Less political bullshit
Better people
Most of the state is great as opposed to only 20% of it being useful with the other 80% being desert or mountains with single lane roads
Less political bullshit
Traffic is unironically better
Substantially less tolls
Less political bullshit
I could go on.
This guy gets it. Also namedropping my home town of the Harbor and my current town of Clearwater, 590 or bust.
Floridian here
What sort of horrific life have you led that you're considering a choice between coming here or California?
Florida is a shithole you tasteless fuck
if you're the type of person who needs to ask others for help trying to figure out where you should move, then your answer is California.
You're a dumb fucking sheep so go with the rest of your flock, retard.
Both are shitholes, move to the Midwest - property is relatively cheap and jobs are common.
And yet somehow California is worse.
They're both shit places to live, but Florida is a healthy shit whereas California is some straight black diarrhea voodoo shit.
Go to Florida you hick
Why would you move to florida where it's nothing but shitskins, old people and rain three times a day? Serious question, both of those states are ass.
Property taxes are absurd in Florida, especially if you live near the coasts.
I live in East County San Diego. San Diego is a nice city depending where you live. El Cajon is full of arabs and Chaldeans. Lakeside and Santee is full of rednecks and drug addicts. Downtown San Diego is full of homeless and liberals. Chula Vista and San Ysidro is full of Mexicans. Rancho Bernardo, La Jolla, and Del Mar is full of rich white people.
This. I live near Tahoe on the California side but would just as well live on the Nevada side if I could for work.
Florida and it's not even fucking close dude.
But the weather and hurricanes absolutely suck for Florida. Still not worth living there full time.
least favorite county in Florida?
Fuck off to florida. We're full.
Maybe offset by no income tax?
Looks like the property taxes aren’t that bad at all, .97% vs CA’s .79%. Given the houses cost less this wouldn’t be so bad
Broward - anyone who answers anything else has never been to Broward. I have an acquaintance or two in construction and when they took a contract down there they were advised to not leave the site or socialize with anyone on the street. They were told to avoid making eye contact and to just get the job done as quickly as possible.
Have lived in both: Florida, especially north of Tampa. Between Ocala and Gainesville there are still some incredible deals for housing, and it is beautiful. No state tax, cost of living isn't like CA. Orlando/Tampa have major airports so if you want to catch a flight somewhere you can.
>Florida
Fuck off we're full!
Correct.
