Made about 1300 in 2018 working for a supermarket. I didn't file that year since I made below 12,000, but I assume my employer filed a W-2 with my current address to the IRS. I paid taxes in 2018. It's on the books. I just never filed for a return. I will get a check in the mail, I assume (just not a direct deposit, unless they set up something on the IRS website where you can apply for a direct deposit).
